About the Team DoorDash’s GenAI Platform team sits within Machine Learning Platform and builds the shared infrastructure that helps DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo teams safely bring GenAI-powered products, agents, automation, and personalization to production. Our mission is to increase the velocity of business impact from GenAI. A central pillar of that work is running frontier open-weight LLMs and VLMs (such as GLM, Qwen, Kimi, and DeepSeek) ourselves — real-time GPU serving, high-throughput batch inference, and fine-tuning on autoscaling GPUs — delivering large cost and latency wins (for example, a billion embeddings produced roughly 20× cheaper and visual models served roughly 72% cheaper). We also own core platform surfaces including the LLM Gateway, Agent Gateway, evals infrastructure, guardrails, and cost attribution. About the Role You will join a small, high-leverage team building production infrastructure for Generative AI at DoorDash, leading the design and architecture of our open-weights model platform spanning inference and fine-tuning: real-time GPU serving, high-throughput batch inference, and model fine-tuning. You’ll set technical direction across model serving and inference engines, fine-tuning and training pipelines, GPU autoscaling and utilization, batch pipelines, backend services, and observability, and mentor engineers as you go. This role is ideal for a senior engineer who enjoys owning ambiguous, high-impact systems and pushing the cost/performance frontier of GPU inference and fine-tuning in a fast-moving technical area where product needs, model capabilities, vendor ecosystems, and cost/performance tradeoffs are evolving quickly. You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… Lead the design of infrastructure that helps DoorDash teams move GenAI ideas from prototype to production, increasing the velocity of business impact from AI across the company. Own and evolve our open-weights serving stack — real-time GPU endpoints, high-thr

About the Team The Legal team is building the next generation of AI-powered products and experiences for the legal industry. We are exploring how advanced AI systems can transform legal workflows, improve access to information, and enable legal professionals and organizations to work more effectively. As a founding member of the Legal engineering team, you will help define the technical foundation for this new product area from the earliest stages. MongoDB is standing up a dedicated ISV Partnerships function, and this Director role is the leadership seat at the center of that effort. You define how the codebase is built. On-site | Vancouver Office – 675 W Hastings St. The Problem We're Solving EviSmart is building the unified dashboard platform where every product surface comes together — the interface lab owners use to manage cases, access analytics, and launch AI-powered tools. It doesn’t have a frontend foundation yet. What exists is a clear product direction, a backend that’s ready to connect, and an engineering team that needs someone to draw the lines before anyone starts building. Why EviSmart 300 people. Two hubs: Vancouver HQ and Manila operations. 145% year-over-year SaaS growth — the market is responding. 28 countries. One platform. The dental industry's Autopilot. An in-house AI model research and development team building proprietary intelligence. Why This Role, Right Now Most senior frontend engineers join products with foundations already in place — someone else made the hard calls, and your job is to build within them. This is the opposite. There is no existing dashboard frontend, no technical debt to inherit, and no architectural decisions that constrain you yet. The person who joins now makes the foundational choices that the entire frontend team builds on for the next several years. The first product milestone is aggressive, the customer base is real and global, and the backend is ready. What doesn’t exist yet is the engineer who sets the direction. A Note from the Team “We’re not looking for someone who needs a clear spec before they can move. We need someone who can audit what exists, make a recommendation, and execute on it. If you’ve been the person who sets the technical direction that your team builds on, and you want to do that at a scale that actually matters, this is that conversation.” — Paolo Kalaw, CEO, EviSmart What You’ll Own Own the React JS / TypeScript frontend architecture for a new dashboard platform — the unified interface where all products connect.
