About the Role Platform Core Engineering (PCE) builds the foundational systems, frameworks, and tooling that Twitch's engineers build on every day. As a Senior Product Manager on PCE, your customers are developers, and your success depends on earning their trust. You will own a platform product area and be measured on whether developers actually adopt, rely on, and advocate for what you ship. This is a deeply technical, senior individual-contributor role. You are expected to be hands-on with modern AI development tools, to understand the technology you are shaping at a real level (not just at the surface), and to hold credibility in a room full of engineers. You can be based out of one of the Twitch offices including San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, Irvine, or New York City. You Will: Own the strategy and roadmap for a PCE platform area, balancing near-term developer needs with a 1 to 2 year technical vision. Treat developers as your customers: understand their workflows, earn their trust, and prioritize the capabilities that make them faster and more effective. About the Team The Finance & Supply Chain Engineering organization includes two complementary teams. Software Engineering builds internal full-stack applications, durable agentic workflows, plugins, MCPs, and measurable AI-enabled engineering practices. Data Engineering builds trusted analytics data assets for Finance and Supply Chain. The teams have distinct charters, with important shared dependencies and broad cross team partnerships across Engineering, Applications, Finance, and Supply Chain. About the Role We are looking for a hands-on senior technical leader who will report alongside the Software Engineering and Data Engineering managers. This is an individual-contributor role with no immediate people-management responsibility. The Tech Lead will raise the technical bar across both teams, participate in important cross-team or high-risk design decisions, and directly own and ship high-impact work. The role should improve team judgment and autonomy rather than act as a floating architect or universal approval gate. In this role, you will: Partner with the Software Engineering and Data Engineering managers as a peer technical leader; managers retain accountability for people, staffing, priorities, performance, and delivery commitments. Directly own the architecture, implementation, launch, and operation of one or more high-impact initiatives, remaining accountable for real outcomes rather than advisory output alone. Guide important design decisions that are cross-team, difficult to reverse, or material to security, financial controls, reliability, data quality, or long-term cost of ownership. Establish pragmatic engineering standards across architecture, APIs and data contracts, testing, security, reliability, observability, lineage, data quality, and operational ownership. Advance engineering standards for building with AI, including agentic workflows, evaluation, telemetry, adoption, and outcome measurement. Work across backend, full-stack, data, and big-d

You will work closely with infrastructure, research, and product engineering teams to improve reliability, developer productivity, and compute utilization. This role is a good fit for engineers who enjoy solving complex operational problems and building software that makes production infrastructure easier to run at scale. In This Role, You Will Build software and internal tools to manage large-scale GPU infrastructure supporting ChatGPT inference. Develop systems for capacity planning, fleet health monitoring, and resource utilization. Automate operational workflows, including incident detection, diagnosis, and response. Identify and address bottlenecks affecting fleet reliability, scalability, and performance. Partner with infrastructure, research, and product engineering teams to improve the compute platform. You Might Thrive in This Role If You Have experience operating large-scale production infrastructure, GPU clusters, or other compute-intensive distributed systems. Have a background in production engineering, site reliability engineering, infrastructure engineering, or platform engineering. Have built software that automates operational workflows and reduces manual work. Have worked with distributed infrastructure, cluster orchestration, or large-scale int
