A Day in the Life The Field Service Engineer is the primary technical representative for Medtronic MIDAS Drills. The FSE is also responsible for the technical assessment, installation, support, servicing, maintenance, and de-installation of all MIDAS systems at customer sites. The FSE works closely with Sales Team Members and the customer to help coordinate on-site visits. The FSE also provides feedback to the Marketing, Quality, Production and Engineering groups to continually evaluate the performance of products in the field. This role is ideal for someone who is responsible, quick to learn, and flexible to travel for week-long assignments on short notice. We are seeking a committed professional to join our team, required to reside within the Fort Worth area, and travel to multiple accounts throughout the nation. A valid driver's license is essential for this role, which also involves 75% amount of travel outside the Fort Worth area, presenting opportunities for broader engagement. A Day in the Life The Cranial and Spinal Technologies (CST) and Surgical Robotics (SR) Field Service organization provides technical support for advanced imaging and robotic-assisted surgical systems used by healthcare providers. This team is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of large capital equipment throughout its lifecycle, including installation, maintenance, upgrades, and service support. This position supports customers throughout the San Antonio, Texas area and is expected to reside within the territory. The role is field-based and primarily performed at customer sites, with approximately 50% travel outside the San Antonio area to support regional business needs and customer requirements. The Field Service Engineer serves as the primary technical representative supporting CST Imaging and Surgical Robotics systems at customer sites.
