GMD Sustainment and Repair Mod Tech Company: Boeing Aerospace Operations Boeing Global Services is currently looking for an GMD Sustainment and Repair Mod Tech to join their team in Fort Greely, AK. This position will support the Ground Based Mid-Course Defense (GMD) program. The GMD system is operationally capable to defend the homeland against long-range ballistic missile attacks. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Position Responsibilities: Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes. Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul. Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment. Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components. Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results). Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements. Oversees training. Works under general direction. ROLE SUMMARY The Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) Lead is responsible for the systematic tracking, installation, and removal of laboratory equipment throughout the entire lifecycle, from acquisition through deployment, maintenance, and final disposal.
