The Facility Expert is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing electrical systems and infrastructure within plant, office, and production environments. This role ensures optimal facility performance, compliance with safety and building codes, and cost-effective operations. The expert will collaborate with internal teams and external engineering firms to deliver high-quality electrical solutions that support business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Facility Planning & Design Plan and implement electrical system changes for plant, office, and production equipment layouts. Ensure designs maximize operational efficiency and comply with applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards. Coordination & Documentation Work closely with architecture and engineering firms to develop design criteria and prepare detailed electrical layouts and drawings. Prepare bid sheets, technical specifications, and contracts for electrical construction and facility acquisition projects. As the Global Facilities Regional Engineering I&C Engineer we are looking for someone to be responsible for providing technical support, expertise, and lead business process alignment on construction project design, management, schedule, cost control, testing & commissioning, and operational and maintenance programs for the facility systems. This includes I&C, SCADA, Life Safety system, Toxic Gas Monitoring, Telecom, Security, IoT systems at all manufacturing sites in your location / region. As a distributed team member residing in your current site/geography, you will represent all facility design standard alignment, construction project management, and O&M BKM alignment initiatives! As the Gas Engineer for the Global Facilities & Construction North Asia Regional Department at Micron Technology, you will play an instrumental role in ensuring the latest planning, build, construction, and maintenance of Bulk and Specialty Gas systems across our semiconductor manufacturing sites in China, Taiwan, and Japan. Ensure standardization and alignment across the North Asia network for engineering concepts, construction projects, and operations practices. Analyze system builds for performance improvements, efficiency gains, and cost savings. Support sites with problem analysis using standard tools and methodologies.
