Who We Are About Stripe Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies — from the world's largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups — use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career. About the Team The Core Change Management group is responsible for the systems that let every Stripe engineer ship code, configuration, and infrastructure changes safely and at high velocity. You will be embedded primarily on the Service Deployments team — the owners of Stripe's end-to-end code deployment platform — with regular collaboration with the Resource Automation and Feature Deployments teams. What Makes This Role Compelling You own the foundation of how Stripe ships software. The deployment platform sits in the critical path of every engineer's workflow at Stripe. The decisions you make affect thousands of deploys per day across hundreds of services, directly determining how fast and safely Stripe's product evolves. Technically rich, architecturally active. The team is executing several concurrent platform transformations: containerizing host-based services at scale, adding intelligent multi-service deploy pipelines, extending real-time anomaly detection to earlier stages of traffic shifts, and rebuilding deployment event infrastructure on top of a durable message bus. This is not maintenance work — the architecture is in motion. Broad surface area, real ownership. You will span the full stack from container scheduling and deployment orchestration business logic to the developer-facing internal platform UI. The problems are multi-layered: reliability, developer experience, performance, and safety all at once. Your judgment prevents incidents.

RDQ427R542 At Databricks, we are passionate about enabling data teams to solve the world's most challenging problems — from making the next mode of transportation a reality to accelerating medical breakthroughs. We do this by building and running the world's best data and AI platform, enabling our customers to use deep data insights to improve their businesses. Our ability to execute this mission depends on building trust and recognition within an ever-growing community of data engineers, analysts, scientists, machine learning practitioners, and AI practitioners. Are you the person who is already at every AI meetup in the Bay Area — not to be seen, but because that's where the interesting conversations are happening? Are you a hands-on practitioner in generative AI, agents, and MLOps who can hold your own in a room full of AI engineers and leave them with something they can actually use? As a Senior Developer Advocate for AI and Machine Learning, you'll be the voice of Databricks in the Bay Area AI community and a crucial link between our engineering teams and the global community of data scientists and AI engineers. You'll focus on how practitioners build, evaluate, govern, and ship agentic systems on the Databricks Data + AI Platform — with particular depth in Genie Agents, Genie Code, Genie One, MLflow, and Databricks Unity AI Gateway. You'll translate what you learn from customers and the community into reference implementations, demos, and content that are production-ready rather than merely impressive on stage. This is a role for someone who wants to be in the room. San Francisco and the wider Bay Area are the densest concentration of AI practitioners in the world, and we want Databricks to be present and useful in that community — at meetups, hack nights, demo nights, founder dinners, and the hallway conversations around them. You'll build genuine relationships with the people building the future of AI here, and you'll bring what you hear back to our pro

Databricks’ Developer Relations team is looking for a leader to manage our open source Developer Advocates, deepen our engagement across the Apache Software Foundation and Linux Foundation communities, and lead technical storytelling and experiences that strengthen trust and adoption. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the spotlight, is known and respected in open source communities, and gets even more satisfaction from growing other advocates than from giving the keynote themselves. As the Developer Advocate Manager for Open Source, you'll lead the team that advocates for the projects Databricks builds in the open, and serve as a crucial link between our engineering teams and the global community of practitioners building their careers on them. Your team's remit spans the Open Lakehouse — Apache Spark™ (including Spark Declarative Pipelines), Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Apache Iceberg™, and MLflow — as well as Omnigent, our open source meta-harness for composing, governing, and sharing AI agents. As the original creators of Apache Spark™, Delta Lake, and MLflow, we hold ourselves to a high standard here: our credibility in these communities is earned continuously, not inherited.
