AI agents are transforming the way developers interact with software - and databases are no exception. We're seeking a Software Engineer to join our AI Interfaces team within AI Builder Experience (ABX), where you'll provide technical direction, shape architecture, and build the core products that make it seamless for developers and AI agents to work with MongoDB. Our team owns the surfaces through which humans and agents connect to MongoDB - including the MongoDB MCP Server, Agent Skills, our Intelligent Assistant Platform, and purpose-built agents. In short: if it's how an agent talks to MongoDB, we're building it. This is a new team charting new territory, and as a Software Engineer here, you'll be right at the frontier - building the technologies that let AI applications and agentic workflows work seamlessly with MongoDB at scale. You'll integrate with fast-moving, often unproven technologies, make pragmatic calls in the face of ambiguity, and own high-visibility projects end to end with minimal guidance. We're looking for product-minded engineers who thrive on autonomy and take pride in shipping. MongoDB engineering teams pride themselves on building high-quality software and living our cultural values every day - we value intellectual curiosity and honesty, and building together in an environment that prioritizes collaboration over competition. THE ROLE As a Site Reliability Engineer at Baseten, you'll define and codify the gold standards of day 2 operations for our ML infrastructure platform. You'll envision and build robust systems, processes, automations, and observability tooling that keep our platform reliable at scale β and that empower the broader organization to operate confidently. You'll work closely with engineering, forward-deployed and product teams: learning from recurring failure patterns, turning tribal knowledge into automated mitigations, and raising the operational floor for the entire company. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to to ship AI products. THE ROLE Baseten's engineers want to work in an AI-first way. What's missing isn't enthusiasm β it's the platform underneath it. Today everyone assembles their own agent config, context files, and MCP servers, so the good patterns stay trapped in individual setups instead of becoming defaults everyone inherits. You'll build that platform: the agent configurations tuned to our monorepo, the context and tooling layer that makes agents competent in our codebase, the evals that tell us which approaches actually work, and the rollout mechanics that get a new engineer productive with agents in week one. You are not here to mandate how engineers use AI β you're here to make the good path the easy path. Success looks like teams adopting what you build because it beats what they'd cobble together themselves, not because a policy requires it. Platform engineer, not AI evangelist. Ship infrastructure, measure it, kill what doesn't work, let adoption be the referee. The playbook for AI-first SDLC doesn't exist at any company yet. You'll write ours. WHAT YOU'LL BUILD Agent substrate β Repo-level context infrastructure that makes agents competent in our codebase ( CLAUDE.md/AGENTS.md conventions, architecture and domain context, and the tooling to keep it accurate as code moves). Internal MCP servers giving agents scoped access to CI, observability, incident tooling, deployment state, and docs. Shared skills, subagents, and hooks th

We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F , led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to to ship AI products. THE ROLE Baseten is building its own GPU infrastructure for large-scale inference. As we move into large scale, high-density NVIDIA systems, the hardest failures are intermittent, cross-layer, and difficult to prove: RoCE congestion, InfiniBand stalls, ECN/DCQCN mis-tuning, bad optics, RNIC issues, host kernel stalls, GPU driver problems, and workload symptoms that look like network problems, but are not. We are hiring a Lead Software Engineer to build a first-class observability and root-cause analysis system for GPU fabrics. This is a hard distributed systems problem, not a dashboarding problem. The system will collect high-volume signals from switches, hosts, active probes, and inference services; reduce and correlate them in real time; understand topology and service ownership; and produce actionable diagnosis while an incident is still unfolding. This role sits at the boundary between networking and inference software. RDMA data paths, GPUDirect transfers, prefill/decode disaggregation, KV cache movement, request routing, and workload backpressure can all create fabric symptoms or hide real fabric failures. The goal is to tell an operator, quickly and with evidence, whether an incident is caused by the fabric, host, NIC, GPU, RDMA path, scheduler, or serving layer β and what to do next. EXAMPLE INITIATIVES Real-time telemetry engine β Build the ingestion, reduction, storage, and query path for high-cardinality fab
About Us: AI needs a new infrastructure layer. We're building it at Modal. Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now. Our customers include category-defining companies like Lovable , Ramp , Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale. We recently raised a $355M Series C at a $4.65B valuation, led by General Catalyst and Redpoint Ventures. We've crossed $300M+ ARR and grown fivefold since September. Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g., Seaborn , Luig i ), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders with decades of experience. The Role: We're looking for a Detection & Response Engineer to build the systems that help us identify, investigate, and respond to threats across our platform. This is an engineering role focused on automation. You'll build detections, investigation tooling, and response capabilities that scale with our infrastructure, using AI where it meaningfully improves signal, investigation speed, and operational effectiveness. You'll work closely with infrastructure, platform, and security engineers to ensure every incident makes the platform more resilient. What You'll Work On: Detection Engineering Design and build high-fidelity detections for attacks, abuse, and anomalous behavior across our infrastructure and production systems Continuously improve detections based on telemetry, threat intelligence, and lessons learned from incidents Improve visibility across cloud infrastruc

THE ROLE: As a Software Engineer at Baseten, you will own one of the most critical surfaces of our business: pricing, billing, and revenue infrastructure. As we launch more and more productsβ billing is no longer just operational plumbing. It is a strategic lever for growth. This role will establish clear ownership of billing as a function and create leverage for Finance, Sales, and GTM teams while maintaining a seamless customer experience. RESPONSIBILITIES: Own Basetenβs end-to-end billing and revenue infrastructure, including pricing, invoicing, metering, and reporting foundations. Build and evolve our billing platform and integrations (including Orb), ensuring correctness, auditability, and a high-trust experience for customers and internal teams. Synthesia is the worldβs leading AI video platform for business, used by over 90% of the Fortune 100. Founded in 2017, the company is headquartered in London, with offices and teams across Europe and the US. As AI continues to shape the way we live and work, Synthesia develops products to enhance visual communication and enterprise skill development, helping people work better and stay at the center of successful organizations. Following our recent Series E funding round, where we raised $200 million, our valuation stands at $4 billion. Our total funding exceeds $530 million from premier investors including Accel, NVentures (Nvidia's VC arm), Kleiner Perkins, GV, and Evantic Capital, alongside the founders and operators of Stripe, Datadog, Miro, and Webflow. Remote (US East Coast preferred, for timezone coverage) About the team Cloud Infrastructure owns the platform every Synthesia product runs on β AWS, Kubernetes, MongoDB, Temporal, our observability stack, and the vendor and cost relationships underneath them. We're a small, high-leverage team scaling toward a domain-ownership model: small groups that both build and operate the systems they're accountable for. The role We're hiring a dedicated SRE to take real ownership of operational excellence across Cloud Infrastructure. Today, too much critical operational knowledge β vendor relationships, cost management, and incident response β lives with one or two people. Your mission is to take genuine ownership of those domains, make them resilient to any single person, and raise the bar on how reliably we run. This is not simply a ticket-queue or keep-the-lights-on role. You'll own domains end to end: understand them deeply, operate them well, and build the automation and tooling that make them boring . We deliberately pair operational and engineering work so the role grows rather than narrows. What you'll own Incident management & operational excellence β take custody of the incident process: on-call quality, resp
About the Role Amplitude's Cloud Platform team builds the systems that every Amplitude engineer relies on every day to ship code β and we're rebuilding them for the AI era. As a Senior Platform Engineer, you'll own medium-to-high-complexity platform projects end-to-end and help shape a platform where AI agents are first-class users alongside humans: kicking off deploys, opening pull requests against infrastructure, and triaging incidents, so a single engineer can get the throughput of a team. You'll partner with Staff engineers and product teams to make Kubernetes effortless across the engineering org, building self-service automation and scalable AWS infrastructure that lets product teams ship faster, safer, and with less cognitive load. If you're excited about building the systems that other engineers will rely on every day, this role is for you. Key Responsibilities Lead high-impact platform projects β design and ship capabilities that move the needle on developer experience, reliability, or security, and set the bar for quality, testing, and safe deployment practices. Build the AI-augmented platform. Design tooling and workflows that help engineers get more out of AI-assisted development β think infra primitives that are easy to reason about, automated review, and policy-as-code that keeps the guardrails strong as AI shifts how code gets written. Own Infrastructure-as-Code for Kubernetes, AWS, and GCP using Terraform, Helm, Kustomize, and emerging tooling β and make it consumable enough that an LLM can safely PR against it. Evolve our CI/CD backbone (Argo CD / Workflows / Rollouts, GitHub Actions) to make deploys faster, safer, and easier to reason about. Instrument and operate. Drive observability with Datadog and Amplitude, own dashboards and SLOs, and use the data to push reliability forward. Participate in on-call, lead incident response when needed, and turn postmortems into durable platform improvements. Reduce toil and tech debt with pragmatic remediation
