Radiographers must adhere to quality assurance protocols and health and safety regulations to maintain high standards of practice, while also maintaining accurate patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures, including consent forms and reports. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals is essential to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care. Additionally, they provide guidance and support to junior radiographers, students, and support staff, fostering a positive learning environment, and engaging in ongoing professional development and training to stay up to date with advancements in radiography and imaging techniques. Requirements: A relevant degree in Radiography or a related field, and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
