Founded in 2017, the company is headquartered in London, with offices and teams across Europe and the US. As AI continues to shape the way we live and work, Synthesia develops products to enhance visual communication and enterprise skill development, helping people work better and stay at the center of successful organizations. Following our recent Series E funding round, where we raised $200 million, our valuation stands at $4 billion. The role... Synthesia's API and platform capabilities are quickly becoming the way developers embed AI video into their own products — automated training pipelines, localization workflows, customer-facing apps, and more. We're looking for our first Developer Advocate to make sure the developer world knows it, understands it, and gets building. This is a builder-and-storyteller role. You'll be the face and voice of the Synthesia API to the outside world — writing, coding, speaking, and showing up wherever developers already are — while also being the internal champion who brings their feedback back into the product. You won't just talk about what's possible with Synthesia; you'll build the sample apps, tutorials, and demos that prove it, and you'll do it consistently enough that developers start to recognize your name before they recognize the logo. You'll be part of the Developer Services team and work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Developer Support to turn technical capability into developer adoption. We build powerful AI-powered product analytics while obsessing over clarity, simplicity, and delight. Engineers here own problems end to end. You can move across the stack to ship impact without being blocked by silos or heavy process. Product innovation drives our business, and product engineering teams own that responsibility. Our OLAP engine queries over 500 trillion events; a typical blob storage system we interact with processes 300 PiB/month at 1.2 Tbps sustained, and we run many of them across the world. The Data Runtime team owns the data execution layer that powers every Mixpanel product. We ensure that every customer query runs fast, cheap, and reliably, at any scale. This is an exciting time to join. Mixpanel's agentic and AI-first products are driving rapid growth in query volume, and Data Runtime is making the big bets that power it. We’re investing in elastic query compute and a distributed file cache that will let us scale query workloads dramatically without scaling cost with them. We

The role We're hiring a dedicated SRE to take real ownership of operational excellence across Cloud Infrastructure. Today, too much critical operational knowledge — vendor relationships, cost management, and incident response — lives with one or two people. Your mission is to take genuine ownership of those domains, make them resilient to any single person, and raise the bar on how reliably we run. This is not simply a ticket-queue or keep-the-lights-on role. You'll own domains end to end: understand them deeply, operate them well, and build the automation and tooling that make them boring . About the Team The Proactive Insights team is a newly formed team at the center of Mixpanel's AI-first analytics vision. With a greenfield charter, we're building the intelligent layer that transforms Mixpanel from a tool you query into a partner that works for you. We answer the question every data-driven team asks: "What changed, why, and what should I do about it?" We proactively keep users informed about what matters in their data, delivering the right insights and recommendations at the right time, to the right places, both inside and outside of Mixpanel. Some examples of what we are building: Signals : Statistical analysis that automatically identifies which user behaviors cause downstream business outcomes — such as which actions genuinely improve 30-day retention — using causal inference to move beyond correlation Forecasting : Time-series modeling that projects whether a KPI (e.g. Signups) will hit its goal by end of quarter — including trend decomposition, seasonality adjustment, and confidence bands against a target. Simulation : Causal impact modeling that estimates how moving one metric (e.g. weekly sharing rate) by a given amount will ripple through to downstream KPIs like retention or revenue — giving teams a quantified basis for prioritization Cohort Detection : Automated identification of at-risk user cohorts by finding active users who resemble known churned segments across both behavioral patterns and descriptive characteristics, before they churn. Offline batch survival analysis models that estimate each user's probability of a future outcome (e.g. likelihood to churn or convert withi
