This role will support accounting, reporting, and financial operations for Accordion’s UK and EU entities and work closely with the Managing Director, Accounting Operations (U.S.-based) and global finance leadership. What You will do: Financial Close & Accounting Coordinate the monthly close process for UK and EU entities, including journal entries and analytical review. Analyze financial results and explain variances to budget, forecast, and prior periods. Maintain the general ledger and supporting schedules ensuring reconciliations are accurate and documented. A Career with Point72’s Valuation Team The Point72 Valuation team manages the valuation of all investments across the firm’s extensive hedge fund, private equity, and venture capital portfolios. The team’s investment valuation coverage ranges from exchange traded products to derivatives traded in OTC markets, to venture capital and private equity. The Valuation team provides valuations and P&L for investments for stakeholders across the firm, including Senior Management, portfolio managers/deal teams, Risk Management, and investor reporting. What you’ll do Manage the valuation of mortgage-backed securities, including specified pools, CMOs, TBA/TBA options, and non-agency products. Oversee market data inputs to valuation models, ensuring compliance with the firm’s valuation policy. Perform model validation for new or upgraded valuation models supporting new products and system enhancements. About the team + role Robinhood is seeking a Senior Manager, Valuation to lead and execute valuation analyses for private company investments, minority equity stakes, and other illiquid financial instruments held across the organization. This role will partner closely with Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting (TAFR), Corporate Development, and the RHV Private Markets Valuation Committee to ensure valuations are well-supported, defensible, and compliant with US GAAP (ASC 820, ASC 321/323) and SEC reporting requirements.
