About Supabase Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth. About the Role Supabase serves millions of developers on a shared, multi-tenant platform. At that scale, abuse is not an edge case — it is a continuous operational reality. Credential stuffing, free-tier compute abuse, API scraping, malicious project provisioning, and exfiltration attempts occur every day. We need someone who treats detection and response as a craft, and who can close the loop between signal, triage, and automated remediation. You will work directly with our Anti-Abuse Lead and embed with Platform Security and Product Security to build and operate the systems that protect Supabase and its customers from abuse at scale. This role sits inside the security org but operates at the intersection of security engineering, data analysis, and platform operations. This role provides follow-the-sun coverage alongside our existing Anti-Abuse and Platform Security team members. It is fully remote, with a strong preference for candidates based in APAC or the West Coast of the Americas . What You’ll Own Abuse Detection & Signal Triage Monitor Signals: Monitor inbound abuse signals across platform telemetry, HackerOne reports, support queues, and internal alerting pipelines. Triage End-to-End: Triage abuse cases end-to-end, assessing severity and blast radius, classifying actor types, and routing to the correct response track. Queue Ownership: Own the abuse case queue with clear SLAs to ensure no active threats age out without a definitive decision. Pattern Recognition: Identify complex patterns across distinct cases that point toward coordinated campaigns or emerging attack techniques. Incident Response & Remediation Lead Incidents: Lead response efforts for active abuse incidents, coo

Why Translucent Healthcare providers drive $2.5 trillion in medical expenditures annually — and operate on razor-thin 2–5% margins. Despite these stakes, the finance teams behind these organizations are buried in spreadsheets, manual data pulls, and disconnected systems, spending more time finding and cleaning data than actually using it to make decisions. Translucent is changing that. We're building the agentic AI platform designed exclusively for healthcare finance— giving every finance team, department, service line their own arsenal of AI Agents that run 24/7, understand their specific data, business logic, and workflows. Founded in 2024 and backed by GV, NEA, FPV, and Virtue, we've already been deployed by healthcare organizations managing over $5 billion in combined revenue. The product-market fit is real, the problem is massive, and we're just getting started. If you want to work at the intersection of AI and one of the most complex, consequential industries in the world — this is the place. About the role We're hiring a Senior Security Engineer in New York to own security and compliance across our IT and software development practices at the frontier of LLM-agentic product development. You'll join the platform technology organization as its primary security engineer, building and maintaining security infrastructure in GCP and across our sub-processors. Partnering closely with platform and product engineers, you'll keep our core deployed systems secure and well-tested, define internal security standards, and evaluate and audit the technologies the company adopts. In short, you'll enable us to move fast with emerging technology without compromising on security. What you'll do Manage SecOps software in GCP and Vanta. Continually monitor, analyze and improve our deployed software’s security posture Validate software is correct, secure, and maintains customer privacy Manage compliance standards and own the lifecycle of necessary diligence work Maintain a database
Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers to help them ship countless products that people love. More than 7 million developers trust us with their data, and we are custodians of every byte of it. Security is foundational to that trust, and as we move deeper into AI-native development, regulated industries, and enterprise, it shapes whether a developer chooses us on day one and whether a regulated company can build their most sensitive workloads on Supabase. About the role We're looking for a PM who can balance the constant tension between security and developer experience at platform scale. Every control you add is friction a developer has to absorb, and every default you loosen is a door an attacker could walk through. Finding the right balance between protecting customers and keeping them fast is the work of this role. You'll partner with Security Engineering, Compliance, and the platform teams that own auth, networking, and audit. This is a remote position and we're open to considering candidates located across EMEA and AMER time zones. In This Role You Will Set the security agenda for the platform. Lead Supabase's platform security roadmap end-to-end, from the defaults that protect a developer prototyping their first project to the advanced controls a Fortune 500 CISO needs before approving us. Hold the line between security and developer experience. Every security feature trades protection against friction. A control that's too strict pushes developers off the platform; one that's too easy to bypass doesn't protect anyone. Lead our security strategy for AI agents. Agents now read, write, and deploy on behalf of developers and companies, often at machine speed. You'll lead how Supabase authenticates, scopes, and audits agent activity so customers can give them real capability while staying in control of their data. Own our security product surface. Drive the roadmap for the security tooling customers use to operate safely
