Secure Every Identity, from AI to Human Identity is the key to unlocking the potential of AI. Okta secures AI by building the trusted, neutral infrastructure that enables organizations to safely embrace this new era. This work requires a relentless drive to solve complex challenges with real-world stakes. We are looking for builders and owners who operate with speed and urgency and execute with excellence. This is an opportunity to do career-defining work. We're all in on this mission. If you are too, let's talk. The Agent Gateway Team The Agent Gateway team owns the identity-aware infrastructure that connects enterprise AI agents to the tools, data, and services their organizations authorize. Every call from Claude, Agentforce,, Codex, and internal/homegrown agents to a resource flows through us. We enforce authorization, isolate credentials, mint the right token per target, and produce the audit trails that security teams rely on. We are early in a rapidly evolving space. The standards (MCP, XAA, ID JAG, DCR for agents,CIMD) are being built under our feet. Our roadmap includes hardening the data plane for on-premises customer deployments, extending policy semantics beyond tool-level allowlists, adding native support for Agent-to-Agent brokered delegation, XAA and scaling to tenants with thousands of virtual MCP servers. The Staff Software Engineer Opportunity Okta is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to serve as a technical anchor for the Agent Gateway team. You will own critical parts of the data and control planes and drive architectural design as the MCP and agent identity specs evolve. In this role, you will work close to the metal on request routing, token exchange, credential resolution, and policy evaluation. You will work equally close to the identity control plane on config bundles, tenant fanout, and operational rollouts. You are expected to make sharp technology choices, prototype with agentic tooling, and turn rough product ideas into product

The Okta Secures AI Team The Okta Secures AI Team is building the future of digital identity management. The way companies are using agents and allowing them access is undergoing a fundamental shift, enabling teams to move fast while staying secure. Our North Star is clear: To get AI right, you have to get identity right. We are not just managing identities; we are building the industry's first Identity Security Fabric for the agentic era. As organizations rapidly deploy AI, these non-human entities are acting with access to critical tools, often bypassing traditional perimeters and creating a 'Shadow AI' crisis. Our mission is to move identity from a reactive gatekeeper to a unified control plane, transforming AI risk into business ROI. We are tackling this by implementing a comprehensive four-pillar maturity model: Discover, Onboard, Protect, and Govern. We are driving innovation by defining the standards for Agent Identity—including pioneer work with the AI Agent Tool Registry and support for protocols like MCP and IPSIE. You will be helping us build the infrastructure that allows enterprises to scale AI safely, ensuring every access decision—whether made by a human or an automated agent—is authenticated, authorized, and audited at scale. We are a diverse team of engineers, product managers, and designers who are bringing Okta’s expertise in identity to define the future of Agent Identity management, focusing on enablement while staying secure. We develop this C++/WebAssembly engine to ensure internal and external developers can rapidly build new products and features that are fast and reliable by default, and own areas such as our in-memory data model (SceneGraph), renderer, and multiplayer client/server protocols. Within Creation Engine's Rendering & Animation org, the Pixel Engine team focuses on platform level work for a mix of rendering and media support at Figma. Pixel Engine works on the rendering engine, and builds new primitives and features to support new company efforts. The Pixel Engine team is looking for engineers with domain expertise in Media processing and playback. Our team is focused on a breadth of platform work, ranging from supporting new animation primitives, shader-based effects, and video and image import/export support. This specific role focuses on the Media components of Pixel Engine. This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
