At MongoDB, we are transforming industries and empowering developers to build amazing apps that people use every day. We are the leading modern data platform and the first database provider to IPO in over 20 years. Join our team and be at the center of innovation and creativity. MongoDB is seeking a Sr. Staff Software Engineer to join the Atlas Core Data Services organization. The organization is responsible for building MongoDB Atlas, our database as a service offering and fastest growing product, along with the API Platform and Developer Tools. We are constantly challenged to design features that ensure Atlas clusters are secure, available, durable, and performant while running large-scale, critical workloads. The Sr. Staff Engineer in this role will drive innovation across the organization and the company, setting technical standards and direction that enable future growth and velocity. We are looking for engineers with the experience and high standards needed to lead at that scale. Our organization champions a strong culture of inclusivity, diversity, and collaboration. If you want to be a deeply technical leader on a collaborative team that applies systems expertise to build the foundational infrastructure of a popular database, join us. The Application Modernization Platform (AMP) team is tackling one of the industry's most critical challenges: leveraging Generative AI to transform rigid, legacy applications into modern, microservices-based architectures powered by MongoDB. We are building a comprehensive, SaaS-like platform, encompassing both the "brain" (multi-agent reasoning and orchestration) and the "hands" (the deployment platform and modernization toolset). This solution requires a robust platform foundation and infrastructure designed for a "build once, run anywhere" model, ensuring seamless operation regardless of a client's security or network constraints. A key challenge is balancing the need to tune our tools for each customer's unique tech stack and restrictive environments with making them easily extensible and scalable for common application modernization challenges. We seek an engineering leader for this high-visibility initiative. This role requires defining the high-level strategy and technical direction across all AMP engineering pillars, leading the execution of solving uniquely complex application modernization puzzles, and delivering an enterprise-grade product. The leader will minimize deployment friction, meet customer compliance requirements, and help shape the future of how global enterprises leverage GenAI. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader who excels at leveraging GenAI capabilities, architecting complex distributed systems, and designing the orchestration agents necessary to reliably and fluidly run the entire software development lifecycle. This role will be based in North America's West Coast (PST), and offers a hybrid working model. The ideal candidate for this role will have 10+ years of software development and operations experience, with a focus on building platforms and distributable software infrastructure Deep experience in building data warehouses and core components for data processing systems Have experience in using GenAI in building comple

MongoDB serves as the data layer powering the most important AI applications in the world today. This role exists to ensure the market knows what MongoDB does and to secure the next generation of builders before they default to another platform. The VP of AI Marketing Strategy & Ecosystem will shape the training data, documentation, integrations, and ecosystems that determine what gets built and how, thereby positioning MongoDB as the generational data platform for agentic applications. Builders and agents alike need to reach for MongoDB by default. That requires presence in the systems and tools that influence how applications get built, not just the channels that reach the humans building them. This position will report to the CMO and be part of the Marketing Leadership Team. The VP of AI Marketing Strategy & Ecosystem will work closely with the Chief Product Officers, Chief Technology Officer, Chief Customer Officer, and regional marketing leaders. This role elevates AI visibility and representation, ecosystem partnerships, and developer content into a single VP seat, working closely with product and partner teams to align efforts that currently span the company. This role can be based out of our San Francisco or Palo Alto offices, or remotely in the region. What you will own AI market narrative: own the strategic case for MongoDB as the default data platform for agentic applications and AI-mediated technology selection broadly; ensure the story holds up under scrutiny from analysts and competitors; and ensure it resonates with builders. Partner with Product Management and Product Marketing to keep the AI story integrated into MongoDB's core narrative, not a separate one AI visibility and representation: own how MongoDB appears in AI-generated responses, agent framework recommendations, and developer tool suggestions; This goes beyond content; It includes documentation quality, technical accuracy, and the underlying infrastructure that determines how Mong

AI frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, and n8n are quickly becoming the default way developers build with AI — and MongoDB wants to be the data platform that shows up everywhere they build. As part of the AI Builders Experience (ABX) org, we're standing up a brand new engineering team in Gurugram to make that happen, and we're looking for Senior Software Engineers to be among its founding members. The team owns the connective layer between MongoDB and third-party AI frameworks, platforms, and tools — the integrations that let developers use MongoDB effectively with the AI stack they've already chosen. That means shipping into some of the fastest-moving open-source ecosystems in tech, working mostly in Python and TypeScript, and partnering with the Database Experience (DBX) org when an integration needs new driver, platform, or product capability underneath it. This is a self-sufficient team by design. You and your engineering manager will be based in Gurugram, and the group is set up to own its area end to end: to decide how integrations get built, tested, released, and maintained, without waiting on another time zone to unblock the day-to-day. You'll work closest with the engineers sitting next to you, pairing on hard problems, reviewing each other's code, and dividing up a broad portfolio, while collaborating with product, partners, field teams, and open source maintainers as the work requires. You'll integrate with fast-moving, often unproven technologies, make pragmatic calls in the face of ambiguity, and own high-visibility projects with minimal guidance. Priorities can shift week to week based on framework changes, customer demand, and partner needs, so we're looking for product-minded engineers who thrive on autonomy and take pride in shipping. Much of your work will happen in public: sending pull requests to upstream repositories, working through external maintainer review cycles, and representing MongoDB in developer communities. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer on this new team, you will be responsible for enabling deployment at scale of AI applications and improving the performance, scalability, and reliability of the distributed systems infrastructure for this new product. The platform's SRE team owns the operational foundations: the Kubernetes fleet, networking, observability and alerting, and tenant isolation. MongoDB engineering teams pride themselves on building high-quality software and living MongoDB cultural values every day – we value intellectual curiosity and honesty, and building together in an environment that prioritizes collaboration over competition. We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Gurugram for our hybrid working model.
