Our Mission You call. You wait. You call again. In every other part of your life, you book in seconds. In healthcare, you’re blocked. We’re here to give power to the patient. For nearly 20 years, we’ve built the leading healthcare marketplace - helping tens of millions of people find and book the care they need. Now, we’re going further: building our infrastructure beyond Zocdoc’s marketplace to power access to care wherever patients search, from provider websites and insurance directories to search engines, AI platforms, and more. Healthcare still lacks something every other major consumer industry takes for granted: a seamless way to go from seeking to getting . We don’t want to own the front door to care; there isn't one. We want to make sure all of those doors open when patients are knocking. Fixing healthcare starts with fixing access to it. And we're still just getting started. Your Impact on our Mission As Director of Organic Social, you'll own how Zocdoc shows up on social, shaping how patients and providers perceive, connect with, and engage with our brand. You'll define and lead a social strategy that brings the humanity of healthcare and the value of Zocdoc to life through distinctive storytelling, breakthrough creative, and meaningful community engagement. By building a culturally relevant and differentiated social presence, you'll strengthen our reputation, deepen brand affinity, and make Zocdoc not just a platform people use, but a brand they love, believe in, and want to be a part of. Your day to day is… Own and lead Zocdoc's organic social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels, defining the vision, priorities, and approach to driving brand awareness, affinity, and engagement among patients and providers Set the creative vision and lead content strategy, ideation, and production, developing distinctive, social-first programming and campaigns that build cultural relevance and long-term brand e

About the Team The Foundations Research team works on high-risk, high-reward ideas that could shape the next decade of AI. Our goal is to advance the science and data that enable our training and scaling efforts, with a particular focus on future frontier models. Pushing the boundaries of data, scaling laws, optimization techniques, model architectures, and efficiency improvements to propel our science. The Search team sits within Foundations, building agentic search by co-designing model–system interfaces with the core search stack (serving, indexing, retrieval) to translate model intent into reliable, real-world actions. Operating at the frontier of AI and information retrieval, the team develops large-scale systems that transform and index vast corpora, enabling models to reason over global knowledge and act dependably. In close partnership with researchers, we rapidly bring modeling breakthroughs into production and redefine how intelligent systems discover, retrieve, and synthesize information at planetary scale. About the Role We’re looking for a Software Engineer focused on building and scaling retrieval systems. You’ll work with a team of researchers and engineers to develop infrastructure that enables models to retrieve and act on the right information at the right time. This includes designing and operating indexing systems, retrieval pipelines, and serving layers. Anthropic

About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the Role As a Full-Stack Software Engineer in RL, you'll build the platforms, tools, and interfaces that power environment creation, data collection, and training observability. The quality of Claude's next generation depends on the quality of the data we train it on — and the systems you build are what make that data possible. You'll own product surfaces end-to-end — from backend services and APIs to the web UIs that researchers, external vendors, and thousands of data labelers use every day. You don't need a background in ML research. What matters is that you can take an ambiguous, high-stakes problem and ship a polished, reliable product against it, fast. This team moves very quickly. Claude writes a lot of the code we commit, which means the bottleneck isn't typing — it's judgment, taste, and the ability to react to what researchers need next. You'll iterate on data collection strategies to distill the knowledge of thousands of human experts around the world into our models, and you'll do it in a loop that closes in hours and days, not quarters or months. Anthropic's Reinforcement Learning organization leads the research and development that trains Claude to be capable, reliable, and safe. We've contributed to every Claude model, with significant impact on the autonomy and coding capabilities of our most advanced models. Our work spans teaching models to use computers effectively, advancing code generation through RL, pioneering fundamental RL research for large language models, and building the scalable training methodologies behind our frontier production models. Support transformer-based retrieval, text-generation, and multimodal models in our inference infrastructure, from weight loading, request scheduling and KV-cache management to support in API Gateway. GPU kernels migration to CuTe DSL. Port our in-house CUDA kernels to NVIDIA's CuTe DSL so they run on GB200 today and are portable to Vera Rubin racks tomorrow. Rust-native serving runtime. Develop our internal Rust-based inference server to solve all Python pains and keep up with rapidly growing traffic. Performance optimisation. Profile and fix bottlenecks from network ingress through continuous batching and GPU kernels interleaving. Reliability and observability. Build dashboards, alerts, and automated remediation so we catch regressions before users do. Respond to and learn from production incidents. Who we're looking for: Deep experience with GPU programming and performance work (CUDA, Triton, CUTLASS, or similar). Any other deep systems programming experience is a plus. You understand modern LLM architectures and are able to bring them up reliably in a production environment. You've built and operated production distributed systems under real load - ideally performance-critical ones. Comfortable working across languages and layers: Rust for the serving runtime, Python for model code, CUDA/CuteDSL for kernels. You own problems end-to-end. You can read a research paper on Monday, write a kernel on Wednesday, and debug a production incident on Friday. Self-directed.
