A World-Changing Company Palantir builds the world’s leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. By bringing the right data to the people who need it, our platforms empower our partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more. The Role Forward Deployed Software Engineers (FDSEs) understand our customers’ greatest pain points and design end-to-end solutions to address them. FDSEs solicit constant feedback on their work from both customers and colleagues, improving our products over time with rapid iteration cycles. FDSEs deploy ground breaking technical solutions to solve our customers’ hardest problems. Projects often start with a nebulous question like “Why are we losing customers?” or “How can we more effectively identify instances of money laundering?” FDSEs lead the way in developing a solution, from high-level system design and prototyping to application development and data integration. As an FDSE, you leverage everything around you: Palantir products, open source technologies, and anything you and your team can build to drive real impact. You work with customers around the globe, where you gain rare insight into the world’s most important industries and institutions. We help our customers detect insider trading, improve disaster relief, fight healthcare fraud, and more. Each mission presents different challenges, from the regulatory environment to the nature of the data to the user population. You will work to accommodate all aspects of an environment to drive real technical outcomes for our customers. Whether you aspire to be an entrepreneur or an engineering leader, we believe Palantir is the best place — with the best colleagues — to learn how. You’ll learn how to unpack a problem and understand the costs and consequences of its solution. You’ll learn new technologies and languages, and even develop them yourself. Together AI
📍 San Francisco• $180K – $250K/yr

About the Role At Together AI, you'll own the systems and tooling that let our engineers ship quickly and reliably: CI/CD pipelines, release infrastructure, local dev environments, and the testing systems the whole engineering team depends on. This is a high-leverage, build-heavy role. You'll take on big projects and drive them end to end: building a full-stack release service with deployment orchestration, rebuilding the front-end build pipeline, standing up testing infrastructure that kills flaky builds. The goal is straightforward: engineers should spend their time building products, not fighting their tooling. This is an engineering role focused on building systems, not a QA or manual testing role. You build the infrastructure that makes manual effort unnecessary. Responsibilities Build and own the production systems engineers rely on: release services with deployment orchestration (canary, blue/green), reusable CI/CD pipelines, and self-service tooling. Build testing infrastructure: the frameworks and harnesses that make tests fast and reliable, and track down flaky tests and slow builds at the systems level. Build and maintain local dev environments and containerized workflows so engineers can spin up and iterate fast. Create starter templates and shared tooling (CLIs, codegen, IDE integrations) so teams can stand up new services in minutes. Be the go-to engineer for GitHub Actions and GitOps: defining problems, untangling pipeline issues, and improving how the org works with them. Improve front-end build tooling and developer workflows alongside product engineers. Work across the org to find the biggest sources of friction and fix them at the root. Document what you build so others can use it. Requirements 5+ years building software in production, with a strong track record of owning systems or services end to end, from design through operation. Strong software engineering fundamentals. You write production-quality code and have built and operated real servic

Applications for the Fall 2026 cohort are now open. The Program In the 20th century, America pioneered mass production. We built the Arsenal of Democracy, won the war, and then left the Arsenal to rust. Silicon Valley, a product of the Heartland, turned its back on the American worker. It’s time to reawaken the giant. The same spirit of practical innovation that enabled America to dominate the previous century lives on in every American factory, workshop, and garage today. The proliferation of Artificial Intelligence poses risks, but also the opportunity for a technological and industrial renaissance. Palantir is launching the American Tech Fellowship to arm Americans with the skills to deploy cutting-edge software in the workforce. Fellows will have an opportunity to explore and build on Palantir’s Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) and earn a professional certification in its use. Exceptional performers will earn an opportunity to interview for a role at Palantir or partner companies, where they can use their newfound skills to contribute to the reindustrialization and revival of America. This fellowship is about more than careers—it's about restoring the promise that hard work and determination can still change your life in America. It's an investment in American excellence, evidence of our belief that America's greatest builders are still to be discovered. The American worker, given the right tools and opportunity, remains our competitive advantage. It’s time to prove it.
