About Flexport: At Flexport, we believe global trade can move the human race forward. That’s why it’s our mission to make global commerce so easy there will be more of it. We’re shaping the future of a $10T industry with solutions powered by innovative technology and exceptional people. Today, companies of all sizes—from emerging brands to Fortune 500s—use Flexport technology to move more than $19B of merchandise across 112 countries a year. The recent global supply chain crisis has put Flexport center stage as we continue to play a pivotal role in how goods move around the world. We are proud to have the support of the best investors in the game who believe in our mission, solutions and people. Ready to tackle global challenges that impact business, society, and the environment? Come join us. Hundreds of engineers and thousands of freight operators around the world rely on Flexport's internal systems every single day to keep billions of dollars of freight moving. Keeping those systems — and the people who use them — secure is not a compliance checkbox. It's the core infrastructure for a company operating across 112 countries. The PSI (Platform, Security & Infrastructure) team is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to own the security of Flexport's corporate environment: endpoints, identity systems, internal networks, and the SaaS estate. This is a security engineering role, not an IT support role, and not a role where you write policies and hope for the best. You'll build, automate, and be on the ground when things get real. What You'll Do Endpoint & SaaS security Own and mature our endpoint security stack (EDR) across macOS and Windows fleets , writing device policy as code — configuration profiles, remediation scripts, and enforcement rules — with staged rollout and rollback built in. Own security configuration and monitoring for Flexport's critical SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Slack, and similar) through SSPM tooling, catching risk

All security disciplines work under the umbrella of the combined PSI (Platform, Security & Infrastructure) team: we build the paved path and tooling that hundreds of engineers around the world rely on every day to ship. This is not a compliance or certification role. You won't be measured on audit portfolios. You'll be measured on the guardrails you build and whether engineering teams reach for them by default. A misconfigured IAM boundary here doesn't just degrade a dashboard: it can stall a customs filing or strand a container. Flexport also runs a genuinely heterogeneous estate: hundreds of services, carrier and customs integrations, and infrastructure spanning three continents, which makes multi-account architecture and cross-border data handling real problems rather than exam questions. What You'll Do Architecture & guardrails Design and review cloud security architecture for AWS and Kubernetes: account structure, network segmentation, workload identity, and secure-by-default patterns for new services. Fix the Terraform module, not the finding — drive remediation-at-source so misconfigurations get closed at the pattern level, not one ticket at a time.

Detection & Response engineers own their detections end to end: you write them, you tune them, and your team is paged when they fire. The security team is spread across the globe with a follow-the-sun pager rotation so nobody is paged at 3am local. The adversaries are real. The business is growing fast and the threat surface is growing with it. Defining the necessary telemetry is part of the job. Track detection quality as measured quantities : coverage against MITRE ATT&CK, precision, time-to-detect. We don’t build-and-forget here. About the Role Together AI runs one of the largest GPU fleets in the world. The Infra Agent Systems team builds the software systems that power and automate that infrastructure. We develop production AI agents that diagnose hardware failures, investigate incidents, correlate signals across the fleet, and automate operational workflows. Alongside these agents, we build the platform they run on, including knowledge graphs, retrieval systems, orchestration frameworks, and developer tooling. You’ll work across two areas: Infrastructure Agent Systems — Build production AI agents that help operate our GPU fleet by diagnosing failures, investigating incidents, gathering evidence from live systems, and assisting with remediation. These agents are used every day by our infrastructure and datacenter teams through APIs, CLI, dashboards, and Slack. Core Agent Platform — Build the platform that powers these agents, including knowledge graphs, search and retrieval, orchestration, evaluation, and the tooling that enables agents to reason, act, and continuously improve. We’re working on something that hasn’t really been done before: building knowledge graphs and self-improving AI agents that understand, operate, and continuously improve large-scale AI infrastructure. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of AI agents, distributed systems, infrastructure, and automation , solving challenging engineering problems with real production impact. There’s an enormous amount to build, learn, and shape as we define the future of autonomous infrastructure. responsible for delivering the software but also for operating and supporting it in production. Why this Role You’ll work on two hard problems at the same time: making AI agents trustworthy enough to operate production infrastructure, and building the knowledge, retrieval, and distributed systems that make those agents effective. Senior Software Engineer: Applied AI Every day, thousands of shipments cross borders, change hands, and hit unexpected problems. For decades, fixing those problems meant phone calls, emails, and humans heroically firefighting. We think that's about to change completely. We've been building AI agents that spot trouble before it happens, reroute shipments, and keep goods moving—with our team of experts in the loop where it counts. The early results have been jaw-dropping. We're now going all in on a future where supply chains run themselves, and we're looking for the people who want to build that future with us. This isn't a role where you join a team and pick up tickets. You'll find the highest-leverage problems, design the solutions, and ship them to operators moving freight across 112 countries. With tariffs, shifting regulations, and geopolitical uncertainty, customs has gone from a back-office function to a boardroom priority. The recent trade crisis—sparked by Trump-era tariffs—has made customs the single most complex challenge for global businesses. For many, it’s the difference between keeping supply chains moving or grinding them to a halt. That’s where we come in. The Customs Technology team at Flexport is leading the charge. We are building the systems that help entrepreneurs and global brands navigate complexity, stay compliant, and keep the world’s goods flowing. The opportunity: Customs brokerage is one of the largest, most under-innovated opportunities in logistics. Legacy customs brokers are stuck with outdated systems and manual processes—they simply can’t adapt fast enough. Flexport is growing fast because we’re different. We are the only big tech company in the space, and the only freight forwarder that got founded after the launch of Netscape.
