About the Team Enterprise Verticals builds role-specific ChatGPT Work experiences for high-value enterprise workflows. We combine product engineering, plugins and skills, connectors, data, evaluations, and customer evidence to turn useful demos into reliable daily work. This opening sits within the Technology vertical inside Enterprise Verticals. The group focuses on repeatable workflows for people at technology companies, beginning with functions such as data and analytics, sales, and design, and carries the shared platform needs—tool integration, permissions, quality measurement, and safe rollout—across those experiences. We work closely with Design, Research, GTM, Security, and platform teams, as well as with customers and design partners. Success means that people can reach a trustworthy first result, understand what the system did, and keep using the workflow—not merely that a prototype exists. About the Role We are looking for an exceptionally experienced, hands-on full-stack engineer to define and build the next generation of AI-powered enterprise workflows. You will take on the hardest and most ambiguous problems in the Technology vertical: translating real customer needs into product direction, designing the systems behind the experience, and personally writing and shipping production-quality code across the stack. You will own the technical direction and end-to-end delivery of products spanning ChatGPT Work surfaces, backend services, plugins, connectors, enterprise data, permissions, and evaluations. You will make foundational architecture and product tradeoffs; establish patterns other engineers can build on; and hold these experiences to a high bar for reliability, security, observability, and customer value. This is an individual-contributor role for an engineer who leads through technical judgment, direct execution, and influence—not people management. You should be equally comfortable working directly with customers, setting direction with senior cro

Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to to ship AI products. THE ROLE Baseten is seeking talented and experienced Software Engineers to join our Platform team within the Infrastructure organization. As a senior member of Baseten's Platform Team, you will own the systems that let every engineer at Baseten prove their code works before it reaches production. Our product runs mission-critical AI inference for customers who measure downtime in dollars per second, which means our internal bar for correctness, performance, and failure tolerance has to be exceptional. Your focus is the full testing stack: fast and reliable unit test tooling, integration harnesses that spin up realistic environments on demand, load and performance testing for GPU-backed inference workloads, and resilience testing that deliberately breaks things so our customers never have to find out what happens when a node dies mid-request. This is a builder role with org-wide leverage. You won't be writing tests for other teams — you'll be building the frameworks, harnesses, and feedback loops that make writing good tests the path of least resistance, and you'll set the standards for what "well-tested" means at Baseten. RESPONSIBILITIES Own Baseten's testing strategy end to end — define the standards, the tiers, and the tooling that engineering teams build against. Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way. The Community You Will Join: The Host Pricing & Settings team builds the platform and tools that help hosts run their business — with pricing strategies informed by market intelligence, comparable listings, and demand signals. We partner with Search, Listings, Tax, and Payments to ensure our guidance is accurate, timely, and trusted. Behind every pricing recommendation is a sophisticated ML system undergoing a fundamental rearchitecture. Our north star: a serving infrastructure where training, inference, and evaluation are consistent by design — features from a centralized store, model composition in one place, and backfills available on demand so data scientists and MLEs can evaluate candidates in days, not weeks. The Difference You Will Make: As a senior technical individual contributor, you will own the technical strategy for the full Modeling → ML Serving → API interface across the Host Pricing org. Although you will be at one of our highest levels of seniority, all individual contributors at Airbnb are Software Engineers — you are expected to be hands-on and contribute code. Define the architecture and contracts governing how models move from development to production — feature store design, model schema management, online/offline inference consistency, and multi-version support. Lead the buildout of a unified serving stack that eliminates per-model one-off implementations and gives data scientists a turnkey path from training to production.
