About BlockTech BlockTech is an algorithmic trading firm operating at the frontier of global crypto derivatives and spot markets. We trade 24/7 across some of the fastest-moving, most data-rich venues in finance. Crypto is one of the few markets where the gap between a good model and live PnL comes down to how fast and how reliably you can ship it. We're looking for a Quantitative Developer to build that infrastructure and get our models into production. The role This is a hands-on engineering seat on our trading floor. You'll own the infrastructure that turns research models into production trading systems, working primarily in Python and Rust, the language our models and systems are written in. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with researchers, traders, and fellow engineers, building the tooling, pipelines, and standards that let good ideas reach production quickly and safely, and helping raise the engineering bar across the floor. Ramp
📍 New York• Full-time• From $10K/yr

About Ramp Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books. The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving. We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome. The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same. If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it. About the Role We're looking for a Technical Program Manager who can operate at the intersection of engineering, product, and business — someone deeply technical, trusted instinctively by engineers, and sharp enough to drive clarity and momentum across complex, cross-functional programs. This is a high-agency role with real executive visibility and direct impact on how Ramp's engineering organization scales. We're looking for someone who is energized by complexity, deeply curious about what AI can unlock for engineering teams, and eager to apply it hands-on in their work. You should be someone who experiments with AI tools regularly, thinks about how they change the way software gets built, and brings that perspective into how you run programs. What You’ll Do Lead large-scale technical programs across engineering and adjacent teams—from CI/CD and infrastructure scaling to incident response, and driving other strategic projects across the engineering organization Own Ramp's engineering incident response program, improving processes, running retrospec

The Behavior AI team builds the AI-based anomaly detection behind Datadog's security products. Our models learn what normal looks like across the billions of logs, events, and telemetry records flowing through the platform every second, and they flag the behavior that does not fit, on every record, in real time, at a cost that makes sense at our scale. What we build does not ship to a single feature. The same models power detection across many of Datadog's security products at once, so the work has impact well beyond any one team. Large general-purpose models are too slow and too expensive to run in that path, so we take the opposite approach: small, custom models, designed for high-throughput stream processing and optimized to run cheaply on every record. We are hiring a Senior Applied Scientist to build these models from start to finish. You will contribute to designing the architecture, training at scale, and the optimization work that takes a model from training to running efficiently on production traffic. This optimization requires a deep understanding of the constraints imposed by both the software and the hardware, together with the applied mathematics to work within them: often it comes down to finding a mathematical reformulation that fits those constraints better, and that judgment can decide whether a model reaches production at all. The work involves a number of open questions. How do you obtain most of the quality of a large model from one that is far smaller and cheap enough to run on the full stream? Where is it worth trading exactness for speed, and how do you reason about the error you accept? How do you make a small model's outputs clear enough that the detection engineers and analysts who rely on it can trust what it reports? If these are the problems you want to work on, we would like to hear from you. At Datadog, we place value in our office culture: the relationships and collaboration it builds, and the creativity it bring

The new team will work mostly in Python and TypeScript while collaborating closely with client library teams and other engineering groups across MongoDB that deliver the underlying driver, platform, and product capabilities needed to support these integrations well. You’ll collaborate closely and move quickly with product, partners, field teams, the developer community, and open source project maintainers to ship where demand is real, deepen investment where adoption proves out, and evolve the portfolio over time as it becomes a critical part of MongoDB’s future in AI. MongoDB engineering teams pride themselves on building high-quality software and living our values every day.
