About the Team OpenAI’s mission is to build safe artificial general intelligence (AGI) that benefits all of humanity. Achieving this requires bringing the world’s most exceptional talent under one roof to push the boundaries of what’s possible. Our Research Recruiting team plays a critical role in this effort. We are an embedded part of the research organization, working side by side with our research staff to deeply understand evolving priorities, build trust, and strategically shape the future of OpenAI’s talent. About the Role You will own and execute long-term talent strategies to identify, engage, and recruit many of the world’s leading and emerging AI researchers, research engineers, and technical scientists working at the frontier of machine learning. This is not a traditional execution-focused recruiting role. You will operate as a strategic partner to OpenAI’s research staff, helping define hiring priorities, shape search strategy, influence candidate evaluation, and guide hiring decisions that directly impact the direction and quality of our frontier-model research and fulfillment of our mission. In this role, you will: Partner directly with research and technical staff to define hiring priorities, shape search strategies, and anticipate future talent needs as technical roadmaps evolve. Proactively identify and cultivate exceptional AI/ML research talent across industry, academia, and emerging labs, often before formal hiring needs exist. Use market insights and candidate signals to influence hiring decisions, leveling, and compensation strategy for highly specialized research roles. Serve as a trusted advisor throughout candidate evaluation and closing — helping leaders calibrate for research excellence, long-term potential, and organizational fit. We are an embedded part of the research organization—working side by side with our research staff to deeply understand evolving priorities, build trust, and strategically shape the future of OpenAI’s talent. About the Role We are looking for a highly strategic recruiter to work closely with the Head of Research Recruiting on a small set of unusually important, high-touch searches and candidate relationships. This role will focus on exceptional talent who does not move through a standard recruiting process: highly visible researchers, technical leaders, operators, and other special-interest candidates where timing, discretion, market intelligence, and tailored engagement matter as much as process execution. This is not a conventional req-based recruiting role. You will help identify where the market is moving, develop intelligence on top talent and competitor activity, translate that intelligence into action, and orchestrate bespoke recruiting strategies for candidates who require a more nuanced path into OpenAI. You should be able to translate these signals and states into clear, actionable advice for leaders and then make it happen. In this role, you will: Partner directly with the Head of Research Recruiting and research leadership team to define priority talent targets and shape bespoke engagement strategies. Build and maintain deep market intelligence across frontier AI, research, engineering, and adjacent talent ecosystems, including competitor movement, candidate motivations, and relationship context. Proactively identify, map, and cultivate exceptional high-profile talent before there is a formal or standard hiring process attached. Translate weak signa

Lead Forward Deployed Engineers (FDE) are the most senior technical leaders in the FDE organization. They own the overall technical strategy for the FDE domain, not just individual engagements, and are accountable for how the entire function operates, scales, and improves over time. They set direction across multiple concurrent engagements, teams, and quarters, and are the technical voice the organization relies on when stakes, ambiguity, or cross-functional complexity are highest. This role sits at the intersection of technical depth, organizational strategy, and people leadership, setting the technical bar for the function, shaping how Product and Engineering prioritize based on field reality, and developing the next generation of Staff-level FDEs. We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in New York City for our hybrid working model. Responsibilities Own the FDE organization's overall engagement strategy, serving as the primary technical escalation point across the portfolio for the highest-risk, highest-visibility, and most ambiguous situations Act as the trusted technical counterpart to customer executives and internal VP/executive stakeholders on strategic bets, major risks, and cross-portfolio tradeoffs Set the technical architecture standards and design principles that govern how the FDE domain builds customer-facing solutions and platform capabilities, turning organization-level ambiguity into coherent multi-quarter technical strategy Stay hands-on where it matters most, writing and reviewing code and personally unblocking the hardest technical failures to keep the organization's technical bar grounded in reality Own the translation of field-wide patterns into the FDE domain's long-term technical vision, representing that vision to Product and Engineering executive leadership and defending multi-quarter roadmap tradeoffs Own the technical growth and career development of FDEs through mentorship, coaching, and calibration of the org's technical ba

MongoDB is hiring a Senior Manager, M&A Integration to help build and run the operational backbone for how MongoDB integrates its acquisitions, translating each deal thesis into a durable business outcome. As the Senior Manager, M&A Integration, you’ll help ensure acquisitions are integrated successfully and that the value outlined in each deal is realized. You may provide input during diligence to help flag integration risks, and you will lead integration planning and execution from LOI through post-close for assigned deals, reporting to the Chief of Staff to the CFO and partnering closely with our Corporate Development team. You'll coordinate across every functional team involved in a deal — Legal, HR, Finance & Accounting, IT, Go-to-Market, Marketing, and Product & Technology. You and the Chief of Staff together will support the Integration Management Office (IMO): defining workstreams, building the master integration plan, and supporting governance cadence for each deal. This is a hands-on execution role with real ownership of individual deal integrations. You’ll help build out MongoDB’s integration playbook – standard plans, checklists, templates – turning deal-by-deal efforts into more consistent, repeatable practices alongside the Chief of Staff. This role is ideal for someone who has led M&A integration workstreams before and knows how to bring structure to the ambiguity of a newly closed deal. You know how to drive cross-functional execution without formal authority, operate with autonomy within a defined framework, move fluidly between Day 1 planning, synergy tracking, and status reporting, and take ownership of outcomes rather than waiting to be told what to do. This role may flex across multiple concurrent deals depending on the pace of acquisitions. This role can be based in New York City, Austin, or Palo Alto for our hybrid working model or remotely in the United States. What You'll Do Integration Strategy & Planning Partner wit
