About the Team Meesho is the most downloaded e-commerce app in India. As part of the core Business and Product-Experience team, we are taking a massive leap from a purely transactional e-commerce platform to a destination for visual discovery and personal inspiration. We are building an inspiration feed inside the Meesho app, focused on look-based, trend-based, and highly personalized inspiration across major lifestyle categories like Fashion, Home, and Beauty. Our team holds the end-to-end responsibility to figure out the supply of engaging content, establish content partnerships, and solve complex discovery and ranking problems to scale daily active users (DAU). We focus on personal growth, high-impact innovation, and thinking 10x. About the Role As a Senior Manager for the Content Commerce team, you will be the driving force behind how millions of users organically discover trends and find personal inspiration on Meesho. This is a 0-to-1 charter where you will solve the dual challenge of Content Supply and Algorithmic Ranking/Discovery. You will own user engagement, DAU growth, and content-to-commerce conversion metrics by ensuring our feed surfaces highly relevant, visually stunning, and localized content.

About the Team You will join the Fulfilment and Experience (F&E) leadership team at Meesho. F&E is the operational and technological backbone powering India’s most cost-efficient, reliable, and scalable e-commerce network, serving 100M+ monthly active users. From disintermediating traditional logistics through Valmo (Meesho’s unbundled micro-entrepreneur supply platform) to driving zero-commission seller enablement and real-time speed platforms, F&E operates at the intersection of deep systems thinking, network engineering, and structural innovation. We solve industry-defining supply chain problems at a scale that few companies globally can match. About the Role As a Director within F&E, you will be a critical anchor shaping how buyers and sellers experience the platform and how efficiently and reliably it runs. This is a highly generalist leadership role designed for a strategic problem-solver who can navigate seamlessly between long-term strategic transformation and large-scale, metrics-driven execution. Rather than being confined to a single vertical, you will own one (and over time, potentially more than one) of Meesho's most critical F&E charters. Depending on where the business needs you most and where your strengths lie, this could be any of: Valmo Platform & Network Economics: Scale Meesho’s low-cost logistics ecosystem. Drive unbundled logistics innovation across Valmo Airhubs (first/last mile), Valmo Bases (sortation/middle mile), and Captains & Pilots (franchise partners and delivery execution) to reduce Cost-Per-Delivery-Order (CPDO) while improving SLA predictability. Speed Platform & Valmo Express: Build product and operational levers that make fast delivery a structural advantage. Drive program adoption (e.g., "FAST" badges, early-morning cutoff SLAs, dedicated FE pickups) to lower RTO (Return to Origin) and cancellation rates. User Experience & Buyer Trust: Architect end-to-end pre- and post-order journeys for India’s price-sensitive Tier-2+ consumer

As an SDE IV Android, you’ll work on core app quality initiatives- including improving page latency, enhancing App Vitals, and driving performance and reliability at scale. You’ll architect shared frameworks, solve performance challenges on low-end devices, and enable teams to build faster with consistent quality. With a product-first mindset, you’ll ensure platform solutions translate into meaningful user and business impact. This is a critical individual contributor role focused on elevating the foundation of Meesho’s Android experience.

Meesho’s user base has grown 4x in the last 1 year and we have more than 50 million downloads of our app. Here are a few projects we have completed last year to scale oursystems for this growth: ● We have developed API gateway aggregators using frameworks like Hystrix and spring-cloud-gateway for circuit breaking and parallel processing. ● Our serving microservices handle more than 15K RPS on normal days and during saledays this can go to 30K RPS. Being a consumer app, these systems have SLAs of ~10ms ● Our distributed scheduler tracks more than 50 million shipments periodically fromdifferent partners and does async processing involving RDBMS. ● We use an in-house video streaming platform to support a wide variety of devices and networks.
