About Ema Ema is building the world’s leading Agentic AI platform to transform enterprise productivity. We enable organizations to delegate repetitive tasks to Ema, the Universal AI Employee, delivering 10x gains in workforce efficiency, across functions. Founded by former executives from Google, Coinbase, Flipkart, and Okta, our team includes engineers from premier tech companies and graduates of Stanford, MIT, UC Berkeley, CMU, and IITs. We are backed by industry leading investors including Accel, Naspers/Prosus, Section32, and angels like Sheryl Sandberg and Dustin Moskovitz. Headquartered in Silicon Valley and with offices in London, Bangalore and Vancouver, Ema is at the frontier of what Agentic AI can do in production — we ship real systems that run real business processes at scale. About the Role Ema sells through two motions that behave very differently, and today they share one pipeline, one CRM, and one forecast. Direct enterprise — field Account Executives landing Fortune 2000 logos at $250K+ initial contract value and expanding past $500K, into buying committees that include IT, security, data governance, and procurement. Partner-led — global systems integrators and ISVs, including Teleperformance, PwC, Wipro, NTT Data, Hitachi, KPMG, Atos, ADP, Microsoft, and Google, who deploy Ema's Frontier Apps to their own clients. In some cases the partner embeds Ema inside their own product and owns the end-client relationship entirely. Those two motions require different definitions, different attribution rules, and different quota treatment. Building that distinction — and the systems, reporting, and compensation logic that sit on top of it — is the core of this role. This is the first dedicated Revenue Operations hire supporting the US go-to-market organization. You will be building the function, not maintaining one. What You Will Own Forecasting and pipeline management Own the weekly forecast process and cadence across direct and partner motions, and report fo

THE ROLE We're hiring a Sales Development Manager to lead the team of SDRs generating pipeline for our North American sales org. You'll own the day-to-day leadership of the team — coaching reps, aligning with AEs and sales leadership, holding a high bar on execution, hiring, and building the systems that make the team consistently productive. Our market is new and evolves by the day, and our buyers are hyper-technical. Prospecting at Baseten means earning credibility with that audience, and coaching a team to do it at scale. The right person for this role is a coach and a builder — someone who gets energy from developing people, is obsessive about execution, and wants to define what world-class pipeline generation looks like when the product, the buyers, and the sales motion are all AI-native. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead, coach, and develop a team of SDRs responsible for opening doors with the next wave of Baseten customers. Own the team's pipeline generation targets and drive consistent execution against weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals. Build and refine outbound strategies, messaging, and frameworks across a wide range of accounts, tuned to a technical audience. Run 1:1s, team meetings, training, and pipeline reviews that make reps measurably better week over week. Partner with AEs and sales managers on account strategy, lead quality, and handoff processes. THE ROLE Forward Deployed Engineers work directly with the largest and fastest-growing AI companies in the world, owning their technical outcomes on Baseten and taking on the hardest problems in serving and improving models at scale. The work spans the model lifecycle: inference, post-training, and the systems that tighten the loop between them. Act as each account's de facto CTO on Baseten, with final accountability for how their workloads are designed, run, and scaled. Take customer objectives from vague to shipped: frame the problem, define the spec and success criteria, build the PoC, and carry it through to production quickly, using the right tools for the problem. Design the evals and benchmarks that isolate where quality or performance falls short, then close the gap yourself, whether that means optimizing inference, improving the model through post-training, or reworking the eval itself. Be the first responder to mission-critical failures including triage, owning the fix directly or route to the owning team and stay accountable until it ships. Build internal systems so that each engagement is faster than the last. This includes tooling and automation for eval and deployment infrastructure, and the recipes and reference implementations that make the product more self-serve. Shape the product itself, channeling what your accounts need into the roadmap and shipping fixes and features into Baseten's codebase yourse
