This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who wants to actively shape how Engineering, one of the most important parts of how Datadog develops its people. You'll sit at the center of Datadog's biggest talent bets for Engineering: how we build leaders, define career paths and org design, evolve performance, move talent internally, and plan succession for our most critical roles. You’ll own this work end to end, from the first framing conversation with senior leaders through to delivering a program running at scale. AI is changing how Engineering builds software, and it is changing how People builds the programs that support Engineering too. This role sits at the centre of both: understanding how AI is reshaping engineering roles, skills and structures, and building AI-powered solutions within People to keep pace. At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them. What You’ll Do: Design and lead complex talent programmes for Engineering, spanning leadership capability, career architecture, org design, performance, internal mobility and succession for critical roles. Partner directly with PBPs and senior leaders to turn ambiguous problems into clear programme goals, design principles and success measures. Help Engineering and People understand and respond to how AI is reshaping roles, skills and ways of working, and translate that shift into practical talent and org design choices. Stay hands-on from concept through to adoption: this is a build and run role, not a strategy and handover role. Work across Enablement, Learning, People Analytics and People Systems so what you build scales and embeds into core people processes. Equip PBPs with frameworks, tools and executive-ready narratives that support real adoption in the business. Operate in ambigu

Reports to: Head of Developer Growth · New York, NY NOTE: This is not a traditional marketing role, it's a growth role that reports into the Product org. We're hiring someone to build our developer audience the way the best consumer brands build audiences, with a real voice, a point of view, and the speed to act on both. You'll own where and how we show up in the places developers actually spend time, run our developer social channels, expand into new ones, and build the tooling and measurement behind it. This is a builder role, not simply a coordination role. What You'll Do: Own the voice, editorial standard, and publishing cadence for Datadog's developer channels (@datadogdevs on X, Datadog Developers on LinkedIn) Treat replies as a primary surface. The best accounts win in the mentions, not the feed Expand into the places developers actually spend time: Reddit, YouTube, Discord, Bluesky, dev.to, Hacker News, and whatever you make the case for. Always openly as Datadog — developers catch anything else immediately, and you only get caught once Turn shipped engineering work into things people want to read and watch. Releases, changelogs, war stories, the occasional postmortem that deserves a wider audience Build the attribution model connecting what you publish to trials and signups. Nobody is handing you this one Run real experiments: a hypothesis, a readout, and the willingness to kill something publicly when it doesn't work Lead the developer content engine around events Get other people posting — Datadog engineers under their own names, and developers outside the company who already like us and could use the support Track what developers are saying about us and our competitors, and route it back to product and growth Who You Are: You've grown an audience from a small number to a large one You can point to outcomes your content moved, not just reach You're a strong writer with a distinctive voice, and you know the difference between writing about an audience and

We are looking for a talented engineer to lead evaluation of startup acquisition opportunities in the AI, cloud and security space. You will drive product evaluations, prepare and manage technical architecture discussions with target groups in Product and Engineering and provide roadmap suggestions for M&A and investments for Datadog. You will be a key partner to Datadog’s C-level leadership and highly visible at the most senior levels of Datadog. The role is reporting into the Senior Director of Product Strategy and falls within the Product organization. We are looking for an innovative and strategic thinker who is passionate about the latest tech being developed by startups in the cloud, AI and security space. The ideal candidate enjoys researching and evaluating new technologies, works effectively with cross-functional teams, and communicates opinions concisely to our leadership team. Broad understanding of relevant Cloud Technologies and deep understanding of the full coverage of Datadogs current offerings is necessary. The Corporate Development team is small and values authentic, strong-willed individuals who think creatively and proactively. This role leads technical due diligence from a product and architecture perspective across our acquisition pipeline. You'll scope and stand up proof-of-concept and sandbox environments to stress-test candidate products, then give an honest, unvarnished view of their quality and depth - the kind of assessment that holds up regardless of deal momentum. You'll assess technical architecture, flag the risks and open questions that matter most early, and turn that into a clear post-acquisition integration path. Working closely with engineering, you'll keep the evaluation focused on what's actually decision-relevant, then translate the findings into strategic recommendations for leadership and help carry the integration through by partnering with the right people on the other side. About Datadog: We're on a mission to build the best platform in the world for engineers to understand and scale their systems, applications, and teams. We operate at high scale—trillions of data points per day—providing always-on alerting, metrics visualization, logs, and application tracing for tens of thousands of companies. Our engineering culture values pragmatism, honesty, and simplicity to solve hard problems the right way. The Opportunity: Datadog’s Staff Engineers are our technical leaders operating at the forefront of technology, building solutions that take us through at least our next five years of growth. They do this in three major ways: As individual contributors, they bring world class technical abilities to deliver industry leading systems in areas such as data visualization, virtual runtime profiling, and planet scale streaming. As technical leaders they bring experienced technical breadth and communication skills to tackling design and architectural problems spanning the organization, charting the right course, then leading delivery. In both roles they participate in the staff engineering community and help us learn from what the industry is doing and what we've built before, and so improve company wide standards around software and systems engineering. Some examples of projects a staff engineer may own include designing and building a new data storage engine handling hundreds of millions of records per second, being the lead engineer building a new product like synthetics or profiling, or rebuilding a critical service to handle the next two orders of magnitude of scale. What You'll Do: Be the technical owner of multiple pieces of critical architecture in your area of the business Own delivery of the systems you architect from beginning-to-end, doing what it takes to get things shipped and at full scale in production Dive deep into performance of systems; inventing new approaches that bring efficiency at scale Who You Are: You have a BS/MS/P

You will own the end-to-end enablement process for the programs and stakeholder relationships you’re responsible for: diagnosing the gap, gathering field evidence, building a multi-faceted strategy (not just a content solution), partnering across teams to deliver the experience, and reporting business impact to Sales and Customer Success leadership. This is a high-ownership role for someone who moves quickly, thinks strategically and creatively, and is equally comfortable analyzing hard data and reading what’s happening on the ground. You’ll drive adoption at scale with limited guidance, influence senior stakeholders without positional authority, and help shape how the Program Management function o

Datadog is entering a new chapter in how our product looks, feels, and operates. Our Design Lab is defining a new visual direction for the platform, and we’re looking for a Senior Staff Visual Product Designer to help turn that direction into a coherent product experience. Datadog is dense, technical, and used by people working through complex problems—often under real pressure. The challenge is not simply applying a new aesthetic. It is rethinking hierarchy, layout, navigation, interaction, and product patterns so the experience becomes clearer, more cohesive, and more expressive without losing the power our users rely on. This is a hands-on product design leadership role for someone who combines strong visual judgment with deep product and systems thinking. You’ll work alongside visual designers, motion designers, product designers, Design Systems, and Engineering to ensure the new direction changes how Datadog works—not just how it looks. What You'll Do Co-develop Datadog’s next visual direction by applying and stress-testing it across representative product journeys. Translate visual principles into concrete decisions about hierarchy, layout, navigation, information architecture, interaction, and behavior. Use visual language to clarify complex, data-dense experiences — hierarchy, density, and attention. Hold the visual quality bar across work you don't own, and align teams around it. Prototype, test, and refine new patterns before they become systemized. Partner deeply with Product Design, Design Systems, and engineering to turn successful concepts into durable system guidance and implementation. Create clear artifacts, pilots, and narratives that help teams adopt the direction and raise the product quality bar. Influence stakeholders across design, engineering, product, and executive partners. You will report directly to the Design Director and work as part of a small, focused team defining the future state before it scales across hundreds
