About the Team Security is at the foundation of OpenAI’s mission to ensure that artificial general intelligence benefits all of humanity. The Security team protects OpenAI’s technology, people, and products. We are technical in what we build but are operational in how we do our work, and are committed to supporting all products and research at OpenAI. Our Security team tenets include: prioritizing for impact, enabling researchers, preparing for future transformative technologies, and engaging a robust security culture. About the Role We’re seeking an exceptional Staff - Principal level offensive security domain expert to build agents that continuously identify and coordinate remediation of vulnerabilities across OpenAI’s infrastructure and applications. You will be the technical owner of this effort, combining deep offensive security judgment with agent engineering to build a production system that can operate safely and reliably at scale. As OpenAI increasingly uses automation throughout the company, we believe our security testing must become increasingly automated as well. Advances in model capabilities create an opportunity to test more of our attack surface than would be possible through human effort alone and a need to ensure that we remain ahead of those same capabilities as they become available to attackers. In this role, you’ll build a portfolio of specialized agents that develop a deep understanding of OpenAI’s infrastructure, applications, processes, and security boundaries. These agents will combine internal context with feedback from running systems to explore our cloud environments, Kubernetes clusters, web applications, endpoints, external attack surface, and other high-value targets. The goal is for agents to not only discover vulnerabilities, but also to validate exploitability, document impact, drive remediation, and verify fixes. Success will be measured through outcomes like vulnerabilities fixed, attack surface covered, and performance on evals

Who We Are Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together . We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion. Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work. About the Role: We’re seeking a Rolling User Researcher (Rolling UXR) to deliver fast, high-signal insights that improve Notion’s product experiences across Product, Design, and Engineering (EPD)—including AI-powered workflows like Notion custom agents and chat. This is a tactical, high-velocity role: you’ll run lightweight usability and concept tests on a steady cadence, identify what’s not working, and help teams translate feedback into concrete product changes. Besides conducting research, you’ll also build and scale a program that makes it easy for product teams to submit testing requests and easy for you to recruit participants, along with a prioritization framework that helps you focus on the most important work. This role is ideal for a researcher who loves the craft of moderated testing, can context-switch across many teams, and thrives in a “many small studies” model. This role can be based in either San Francisco or New York City. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work along

About the Role You'll own the quality bar for Notion AI products. You’ll work with product and engineering teams to build systems to define what “good” looks like, measure our progress, and drive changes to deliver reliable and high-quality AI experiences. Your work directly shapes how Notion's AI products behave for millions of users. This isn't a traditional software engineering role. It’s an art & science role . You won't spend your days writing code. Instead, you'll focus on understanding and shaping how our AI products behave through context engineering, designing evaluation systems, and analyzing data. This team sits in our AI engineering team, working directly with engineering, product, design, and data. This role is a unique blend of ops, strategy, and product thinking. Day to day, you'll live in production data, ship prompt fixes, run evals and, in effect, shape our quality strategy. As part of that you'll shape Notion's model strategy and work directly with frontier AI labs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) to evaluate and launch new models. About The Role Build the most advanced AI Meeting Notes product — and expand it into broader “AI data capture” features that help teams turn conversations into durable context, tasks, and knowledge. Our mission is to 10x the rate of business context & data that enters Notion — optimized for agents — so teams get superhuman memory across workstreams and customers. Notion workspaces that use AI Meeting Notes already enter 6x more data on a daily basis, so we’re well on our way. What You'll Achieve Ship end-to-end product experiences across capture → transcript → summary → follow-ups (full-stack ownership). Make meeting & data capture feel effortless and magical (e.g., speaker identification via audio waveforms, richer in-meeting UX, smarter organization). Improve summary quality that teams trust: structure, factuality, and citations that make downstream agents and humans more capable. Raise the bar on reliability & observability across the pipeline (SLOs, debugging workflows, incident response) for realtime systems. Build agentic meeting workflows that turn discussions into tasks, follow-ups, and organized knowledge — so “w
About Ema Ema is building the world’s leading Agentic AI platform to transform enterprise productivity. We enable organizations to delegate repetitive tasks to Ema, the Universal AI Employee, delivering 10x gains in workforce efficiency, across functions. Founded by former executives from Google, Coinbase, Flipkart, and Okta, our team includes engineers from premier tech companies and graduates of Stanford, MIT, UC Berkeley, CMU, and IITs. We are backed by industry leading investors including Accel, Naspers/Prosus, Section32, and angels like Sheryl Sandberg and Dustin Moskovitz. Headquartered in Silicon Valley and with offices in London, Bangalore and Vancouver, Ema is at the frontier of what Agentic AI can do in production — we ship real systems that run real business processes at scale. The residency You own one hard problem end to end. You write the proposal, build the system, design the evaluation, ship behind a gate, and finish with a write-up of what turned out to be true, including the parts that didn't work. You'll sit in the production codebase with a senior mentor and real production data. Recent residents have shipped self-improving harnesses, inference-cost work, agent memory, and eval infrastructure. Your project gets scoped with you, not handed to you. The problem space The loop we care about: production traces become data, data becomes training and evaluation, and better agents produce better traces. Projects live somewhere on that loop. Harness and inference-time work. Context engineering, tool and skill design, orchestration, and deciding where extra inference compute actually pays. Self-improvement loops run behind hard fences. Post-training for agents. SFT on curated trajectories, preference optimization, RL on real agent tasks. Reward design where outcomes are verifiable, process vs. outcome supervision, distilling frontier behavior into cheaper models. Environments and rewards.
