About the Team OpenAI’s Network Engineering team within IT and Security advances the mission of deploying artificial general intelligence (AGI) for the benefit of all by delivering secure, scalable, and resilient network services. We build and operate the connectivity that supports OpenAI’s offices, labs, campuses, cloud environments, people, and devices. By combining strong network fundamentals with security, reliability, automation, and user-centered design, we enable impactful AI research, corporate operations, and product innovation. About the Role As a Network Engineer at OpenAI, you will design, operate, and continuously improve the global networks that connect our offices, labs, campuses, PoPs, cloud environments, people, and devices. The role spans strategic platform engineering and responsive production operations: you will shape architecture, standards, roadmaps, lifecycle plans, and automation while supporting incidents, escalations, and time-sensitive delivery. Operational signals will inform what we stabilize, simplify, standardize, or automate next. We work backward from user needs, investigate root causes, own outcomes end-to-end, and move quickly without compromising security. We are looking for a versatile engineer who can make pragmatic reliability and security tradeoffs, communicate clearly, and turn recurring operational work into durable platforms, tooling, and standards. You will partner across IT, Security, AppEng, Research, Applied, workplace teams, carriers, and vendors. In this role, you will: Design, implement, and operate secure, scalable enterprise networks across offices, labs, campuses, PoPs, cloud connectivity, and hybrid environments. Set strategic direction for network services through architecture, standards, roadmaps, lifecycle planning, capacity strategy, and measurable reliability outcomes. Own production operations, including on-call, incident response, escalations, and time-sensitive delivery, while protecting user experience,

About the Team OpenAI’s mission is to ensure that general-purpose artificial intelligence benefits all of humanity. The Engineering Acceleration team builds products that multiply the effectiveness of OpenAI’s technical teams, helping engineers, researchers, and product teams understand complex systems, learn from what they ship, and operate reliably at scale. As AI changes how software is built, we have an opportunity to rethink engineering workflows from first principles. We’re creating tools and shared systems that turn complex data, experimentation, and technical workflows into clear decisions and useful action. About the Role In this role, you’ll lead design across two connected product areas: a real-time data exploration and observability experience for investigating large-scale system and product behavior, and an experimentation platform for safely launching changes, measuring their impact, and deciding whether to ramp, iterate, or roll back. This is more than a dashboard-design role. You’ll define the interaction models that take someone from a vague question or unexpected signal to a trustworthy answer and clear next step. You’ll work closely with engineers, researchers, data scientists, and product teams to understand the mechanics of their work and make dense technical systems coherent without flattening the details that matter. You’ll also help establish greater consistency across OpenAI’s enterprise and internal tools, developing durable patterns that support AI-native workflows and enable other designers to build more effectively. This role is based in our Seattle, WA or San Francisco, CA offices. We offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: Lead end-to-end design for data-intensive products used by engineers, researchers, and product teams. Shape the complete learning loop: instrument, launch, observe, investigate, evaluate, decide, and iterate. Create clear, high-craft workflows for querying, filtering, comparison, drill-d

About the Team We're building the foundation for a new kind of AI coworker: persistent agents that have their own environments, can meet people wherever they work, and continue making progress for as long as a task requires. Our goal is to help individuals, teams, and organizations delegate meaningful work to AI—not just ask questions or complete a single turn. Our work brings together product, agent, and infrastructure capabilities across OpenAI. Together, we are creating always-on virtual coworkers that can carry context across tasks, operate through the right tools and channels, and deliver reliable results in real workplace environments. About the Role We’re looking for a full stack product engineer to shape how people discover, direct, and collaborate with AI coworkers. You’ll own product experiences end to end, spending roughly equal time building intuitive frontend surfaces and the backend systems that make agentic workflows persistent, reliable, and useful. You’ll work at the intersection of product engineering, design, agent capabilities, and enterprise readiness—turning rapidly evolving model and platform capabilities into experiences customers can understand, trust, and use every day. In this role, you will: Design, build, and ship full stack product experiences that help people and teams delegate meaningful work to persistent AI coworkers. Create intuitive frontend interfaces for directing agents, reviewing their progress, understanding their actions, and collaborating on the work they produce. Build backend APIs, services, and data models that support persistent agent state, asynchronous execution, orchestration, and progress reporting. Develop workflows that help agents access relevant context, use tools, and collaborate with people across workplace surfaces and channels. Partner with product, design, research, and engineering teams to turn shared capabilities into cohesive products. Build trust into the product through clear user controls, understanda
