As it grows and matures, the needs of the GTM stack get more sophisticated with scale — and this team exists to stay ahead of those needs. Our GTM Engineering team plays a critical role in building and maintaining the connective tissue across Baseten’s GTM tools, processes, and user experience for the field. The GTM tooling landscape is changing fast, and the teams that win are the ones that adapt and iterate the fastest. This role exists to make sure Baseten is one of them. You'll design, build, and ship AI-powered workflows that scale our GTM functions as a competitive advantage. We want someone who can walk in, audit what we have, identify what we're missing, and start shipping fast. You know when to reach for Clay and when to build something custom in Claude Code. You think two to three steps ahead about how the thing you build today fits into the broader systems architecture tomorrow. And you bring a point of view — on our stack, on what we should be building, and on where AI can do something low-code tooling simply can't. RESPONSIBILITIES Ship AI-powered workflows for the field — build the agents and automations that give reps and managers real leverage, off-loading the manual and repetitive work. Reach for AI where it does something low-code can't. Get insights in front of reps — turn Salesforce, warehouse, and usage data into the dashboards, scores, and alerts reps

About Datalab Datalab trains models that read documents reliably at scale. The world's most important information is trapped in PDFs, scans, and files that can't easily be parsed, and getting it out correctly matters. From frontier AI labs processing training data to Fortune 500s like Siemens extracting decades of engineering records, Datalab is where businesses turn to when extraction has to be right. We’re at an 8-figure run rate with a team of 7. Anthropic is a customer. And we have hundreds more across FAANG, frontier AI labs, healthcare, finance, government, and legal. Our tools, Chandra, Surya, Marker, and Lift, have 70,000+ GitHub stars and broad developer mindshare. We're backed by founding members of OpenAI, FAIR, and Hugging Face. Role Overview We're hiring our founding GTM - someone who can run the full cycle of sales; sourcing leads, managing the sales process, and closing deals, all while building the playbook that future hires will run on. Datalab makes document AI infrastructure that powers extraction at scale. We're at 8-figure revenue, and have grown revenue >5x YoY, with a team of 7. Anthropic uses Datalab. So do hundreds of other companies across FAANG, frontier AI labs, financial services, insurance, logistics, healthcare, and government. Our open-source projects (Marker, Surya, Chandra) have 60k+ stars and wide community adoption. Sales today is founder-led. The goal of this role is to build a real sales motion on top of that foundation - outbound, ICP definition, enterprise process, and the playbook itself. You won’t be selling alone - engineers and the founder are heavily involved in the sales process, and the whole company pitches in to unblock deals and support customers. This is a high-ownership, high-ambiguity role. We have standard pricing in some areas and open questions in others. We have strong signals about who our best customers are, but ICP isn't fully defined. You'll work alongside the founder and our GTM team to figure those th

You will own a flexible portfolio of high-impact decision data products and work closely with Technical Success and other GTM teams to ensure the work drives better decisions. About the Role As a Data Scientist on GTM Intelligence Solutions, you will define and build the intelligence systems that help customer-facing teams prioritize accounts, identify risks and opportunities, choose interventions, and understand what worked. You will set the roadmap and methodology, build canonical features, ship reliable production workflows, monitor quality and adoption, and improve the systems using field feedback and business outcomes. This role combines hands-on technical depth with strong product and business judgment. You should be as comfortable writing production Python and advanced SQL, defining durable data contracts, and operating decision products as you are evaluating a ranking approach or designing an experiment. You will personally ship reliable first versions and partner with Analytics Engineering and Data Engineering when work requires shared infrastructure or additional scale. In This Role, You Will Set the roadmap and methodology for GTM intelligence and decision products, using deep stakeholder discovery to probe beyond stated requests, uncover the underlying decisions, workflows, constraints, and measures of success, and translate them into measurable systems. Own the full lifecycle of intelligence products, including feature definition, methodo
About the Team GTM Growth Engineering builds AI-native products that help OpenAI's go-to-market and B2B marketing organizations scale with greater speed, intelligence, and operational effectiveness. We apply OpenAI models to real business workflows and build the systems that make those applications useful and dependable: customer context, agent behavior, feedback, evaluation, experimentation, and appropriate human oversight. Our work brings together software engineering, applied AI, product, data, and GTM operations. We measure success through the quality of customer engagement, pipeline, conversion, and the effectiveness of our sales and marketing teams. About the Role We're looking for an Applied AI Engineer to build production systems that help AI-powered go-to-market workflows improve over time. You will connect agent behavior, customer and operator feedback, evaluation, experimentation, and business outcomes to make these systems more effective, reliable, and responsive to evolving customer needs. This is a deeply technical, cross-functional role with end-to-end ownership of the agent improvement loop: understand production behavior, identify failure modes, improve how the system decides or acts, and validate the resulting impact. You will partner with Engineering, Product, Data Science, Sales, and B2B Marketing to turn real-world signals into safer, more effective agent behavior and measurable improvements in customer engagement, conversion, qualified pipeline, and team productivity. In this role, you will: Own the production improvement loop across agent behavior, customer and operator feedback, evaluation, experimentation, and verified business outcomes. Instrument agent workflows so model interactions, tool use, decisions, failures, human edits, and downstream outcomes can be understood in context. Define meaningful quality standards, representative evaluation datasets, regression coverage, and production monitoring for real GTM workflows. Investigate why a
