At Vanta, our mission is to help businesses earn and prove trust. We believe that security should be monitored and verified continuously, and we empower companies to practice better security and prove it with ease. Vanta has a kind and talented team, and while some have prior security experience, many have been successful at Vanta without it. As a Staff Software Engineer on the Automation - Foundations team, you will lead the re-platforming of the data layer underneath Vanta’s entire compliance product. This is a migration that spans multiple teams, has to preserve every public API contract along the way, and cannot lose a single customer’s evidence while it happens. Foundations is Vanta’s data platform team. We ingest security and compliance data from across our customer’s environments, currently tens of thousands of resources per second, with single-customer bursts running into the millions. We store the data, catalog it, make it queryable, and turn it into evidence that has to survive a real SOC 2 or FedRAMP audit. We are in the middle of moving our platform from a Mongo-centric architecture to a schema-aware, Postgres-backed architecture, on a Kafka and S3 pipeline that decouples data fetching from processing. Both pipelines run in parallel today, the hard problems here are correctness under migration, eventual consistency, and multi-tenancy, in a domain where “mostly right” is not an acceptable failure mode. Visit our Vanta Engineering Blog to learn more about what our team is working on. What you'll do as a Staff Software Engineer at Vanta: Lead the migration of Vanta’s resource data model from a Mongo-centric solution to a schema-aware Postgres-backed solution and running both generations in parallel without breaking a customer integration. Drive solutions across teams that you do not own but are dependent on the platform built by your team. Design for correctness under eventual consistency with idempotent session handling, conditional writes that survive out

The NVIDIA DGXC Data Services team builds cloud-native systems, frameworks, and services for managing data across hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure. We are building the next-generation data and storage infrastructure to solve some of the hardest problems in AI: storage, access, ingestion, governance, observability, and data management for exabyte-scale, high-performance GPU-based training and inference jobs. Our work gives NVIDIA teams the foundational capabilities they need to build, train, deploy, and operate AI products at scale without reinventing critical data infrastructure for every workload. What you will be doing: Build storage technologies, client libraries, and filesystem frameworks that help AI workloads access data across object stores, file systems, and hybrid cloud infrastructure. Develop high-performance storage paths for training and inference workflows, including data loading, checkpointing, caching, POSIX-style access, and object-store integration. Build observability systems that diagnose storage bottlenecks, attribute GPU idle time to I/O behavior, and expose actionable telemetry through production monitoring stacks. Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of storage systems serving massive datasets, deep directory trees, and high-concurrency AI workloads. Work closely with internal AI teams, platform teams, SRE, and operations to validate storage behavior against real workloads and production environments. Use modern software engineering practices, including AI-assisted and agentic development workflows, while maintaining high standards for design, testing, security, performance, and verification. At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done. The Cortex team is building the future of AI for enterprise data. This role focuses on the Search infrastructure that powers our flagship products like CoWork, Cortex Code & Cortex Agents fast, reliable, scalable and secure at the enterprise level. You will be building high-performance retrieval engines (leveraging vector search, hybrid search, and semantic indexing) that power Snowflake Cortex. This involves optimizing how billions of rows of data are indexed and retrieved in milliseconds. What you will do in this role: Architect Agentic Runtimes: Build and scale the orchestration engines that execute complex agentic workflows, ensuring low-latency tool execution and robust state management. Scale Context Engineering Infra: Design high-performance systems for RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), including vector database integration, scalable and efficient search indexing, query processing, and result ranking, semantic caching, and automated metadata extraction. About the Team OpenAI’s Finance and Revenue Operations organization builds the commercial infrastructure that enables the business to scale with speed, discipline, and financial integrity. Within Revenue Operations, Deal Desk partners closely with Sales, Partnerships, Product, Engineering, Legal, Technical Revenue, Finance, Billing, Order Management, and GTM Systems to turn complex commercial opportunities into executable, scalable transactions. About the Role We are hiring a Strategic Deals & Commercial Architecture Lead — Marketplaces & Partnerships to own the commercial architecture, execution, and governance layer for marketplace-enabled and partner-led transactions. This senior individual-contributor role is for someone who combines enterprise deal judgment, marketplace fluency, analytical rigor, and a builder mindset. You will take shaped opportunities from intake through approval and launch readiness, translating first-of-kind structures into clear economics, executable terms, quote-to-cash requirements, controls, and operating mechanisms. You will partner closely with teams that own business development and partner relationships; this role does not own partner sourcing, pipeline generation, or sales closing. You will support the commercial requirements for onboarding and integration without owning technical delivery. Success is measured both by the decisions and deals you enable and by the durable policies, systems, and controls you leave behind. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of three office days per week and offer relocation assistance. In This Role, You Will Lead the commercial architecture and execution of complex marketplace-enabled and partner-led enterprise transactions from intake through approval, contracting, launch readiness, and operational handoff. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to to ship AI products. THE ROLE Baseten is seeking talented and experienced Software Engineers to join our Platform team within the Infrastructure organization. As a senior member of Baseten's Platform Team, you will own the systems that let every engineer at Baseten prove their code works before it reaches production. Our product runs mission-critical AI inference for customers who measure downtime in dollars per second, which means our internal bar for correctness, performance, and failure tolerance has to be exceptional. Your focus is the full testing stack: fast and reliable unit test tooling, integration harnesses that spin up realistic environments on demand, load and performance testing for GPU-backed inference workloads, and resilience testing that deliberately breaks things so our customers never have to find out what happens when a node dies mid-request. This is a builder role with org-wide leverage. You won't be writing tests for other teams — you'll be building the frameworks, harnesses, and feedback loops that make writing good tests the path of least resistance, and you'll set the standards for what "well-tested" means at Baseten. RESPONSIBILITIES Own Baseten's testing strategy end to end — define the standards, the tiers, and the tooling that engineering teams build against. Build and maintain unit, integration, load and performance testing frameworks Design end to end test infrastructure that provisions realistic dependencies

DevEx Improvement : Develop and maintain internal GPU-enabled development environments (similar to GitHub Codespaces). You will ensure the team has seamless, high-performance "dev machines" optimized for model experimentation. Tool Development : Build and contribute to open-source tools such as InferenceMAX and genai-bench to automate model evaluation, benchmarking and analysis. System Profiling : Use profilers like PyTorch Profiler, NVIDIA Nsight Systems and py-spy to collect performance profiles, identify bottlenecks, and debug the compute/networking stack.
