THE ROLE We’re looking for a Head of Environment to build the physical expression of Baseten as we grow from roughly 300 employees today to more than 2,000 over the next couple of years. You’ll own the environments, spaces, and experiences that define what it feels like to work at Baseten. This is equal parts operations, hospitality, design, and strategy. You’ll partner closely with our founders and leadership team to create an environment that scales with the company while remaining unmistakably Baseten. You’ll inherit a strong Workplace Experience team and continue to evolve the function into one of the defining strengths of the company. We’re looking for someone who has built and scaled world-class workplace functions before; someone who has seen what’s ahead and can help us get there faster. RESPONSIBILITIES Own Baseten’s global workplace and real estate strategy, developing the long-term roadmap for how our physical footprint evolves as we scale from hundreds to thousands of employees. Lead real estate planning, site selection, expansions, and significant capital investments across our headquarters, growing network of smaller offices, and future international locations. Build and operate exceptional workplaces. Own end-to-end workplace operations, office buildouts, relocations, and launches, ensuring every office runs smoothly with an uncompromising bar for quality, hospitality, and attention to detail. You'll own the entire experience a developer touches to deploy and iterate: the CLI and SDKs, the console, onboarding, model discovery, deployment configuration, truss, and the increasingly agent-driven ways developers build. ABOUT BASE LABS Base Labs is a research lab pushing the frontier of open-source LLMs. We think intelligence should be democratized, not controlled by a handful of closed labs and we think very few teams are actually positioned to do something about that. Backed by Baseten's training and inference infrastructure, we have the compute, resources, and talent to take on hard problems at the frontier and open-source what we learn along the way. Our mission is to help build a world where intelligence isn't concentrated, but spread across an ecosystem of models that anyone can build on. That mission shapes what we choose to work on, how we work on it, and who we want in the room. We are accepting applications on a rolling basis for our first cohort of Base Labs Fellows, which is expected to start in late September. Apply using this link. BASE LABS FELLOWSHIP OVERVIEW The Base Labs Fellowship is designed to give researchers exposure to what frontier research looks like in industry. We provide funding, mentorship, and full support to our fellows, with the goal of producing rigorous, published research that shapes both the open-source ecosystem and Baseten's technical roadmap. We run multiple cohorts of Fellows each year and review applications on a rolling basis. This application is for cohorts starting in Sept 2026 and beyond. THE ROLE The largest, most demanding Enterprises are starting to run on Baseten and they come with a range of security, compliance, and procurement requirements. Today that readiness is assembled deal-by-deal. You'll own the enterprise-readiness surface end to end and turn it into product: the deployment options customers can choose and buy, compliance posture they can trust, access and security controls their IT teams require, and the billing and spend controls their finance teams expect. What does a complete Baseten Enterprise Product offering look like? RESPONSIBILITIES Drive the Enterprise Readiness customer experience end to end: Partner with GTM and Enterprise Engineering to make "enterprise-ready" a platform-wide capability, not a deal-by-deal scramble. THE ROLE Baseten is seeking talented and experienced Software Engineers to join our Observability team within the Infrastructure organization. As an early member of the Observability Team, you will be pivotal in building and shaping the observability experience for our internal and external customers. By joining this team, you’ll have a direct impact on the reliability and operational excellence of Basetens product systems. As Baseten scales its infrastructure across different cloud providers and diverse hardware, the volume and complexity of operational data is growing by orders of magnitude. This team is responsible for building high-throughput ingest pipelines, cost-efficient storage, and agentic diagnostic tools to ensure that we can detect, diagnose, and resolve issues in minutes rather than hours, even as the systems they operate become more complex. THE ROLE We're looking for a Marketing Operations Manager who can own and harden the systems layer of Baseten's Marketing engine. Marketing at Baseten is scaling fast — more spend, more campaigns, more model launches, more inbound. The systems underneath (Our ESP, CRMs, forms, tracking, routing, alerting) need an owner who treats them like production infrastructure that cannot go down. When something breaks, it costs us time, pipeline, and trust in the data. This role exists so it doesn't break. You’ll simultaneously build for the future and re-think assumptions about our tech stack in the age of agents. This is an offensive play that gives the rest of the team leverage and superpowers to hit our ambitious goals. This is NOT an IT or service role. This is a core member of the marketing team who implements technology to achieve outcomes. RESPONSIBILTIES Own the marketing tech stack end-to-end: ad platforms, email systems, tracking, pixels, forms, connectors. Build defense-in-depth on inbound: spam/bot protection, rate limiting, email/domain validation, sync gating — and the alerting to catch anomalies before they hit sales or leadership dashboards. Enforce data integrity: UTM governance, campaign membership, lifecycle stages, lead scoring and routing logic, field-level hygiene, canonical metric definitions. Operationalize the web request pipeline with our dev agency: structured briefs, tickets, SLAs, and launch-day runb

The role Once a model is deployed, keeping it fast, reliable, and economical at scale is where production inference is won or lost. You'll own the surface that makes that happen: how deployments autoscale, how traffic is routed, how the system fails over, and how workloads scale across clusters and regions. You'll own these as products end to end - both how they work under the hood and how customers configure and observe them - and you'll help set and define the roadmap that infrastructure and product teams alike can build towards. This space is largely still evolving - think Cloud Infrastructure in mid-2000s. Your job is to make it 10x easier to reliably scale and serve AI models in production and set the market standard. THE ROLE At Baseten, we’re looking for a Technical Program Manager to drive our most complex, cross-cutting infrastructure programs. This role will operate across all domains of AI infrastructure, from the GPUs up to the multi-cluster orchestration layer. This is an execution-first role. The work is less about owning a single system and more about imposing order on ambiguity: standing up the right structures, driving decisions to closure, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks across dozens of stakeholders. If you take satisfaction in turning a chaotic, half-defined initiative into a predictable, well-governed program, this role is for you. RESPONSIBILITIES Own complex migrations end to end. Lead large-scale infrastructure migrations across teams and domains. This will involve scoping the work, sequencing dependencies, managing risk, and driving them to completion without surprises. Drive process across infrastructure. Establish and run the operating rhythms that keep programs healthy: planning cadences, status reporting, decision logs, risk reviews, and escalation paths. Make the process light enough that teams adopt it and rigorous enough that it actually works. Help managers build the right structures. Partner with engineering managers and leads to design the team structures, ownership boundaries, and working models a program needs to succeed. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to to ship AI products. At Baseten, we are building the global operating system for distributed, heterogeneous AI hardware. We believe that as LLM and multi-modal workloads scale, the network is the computer. We are looking for foundational engineers to lead our GPU Networking efforts, making RDMA a first-class building block in our infrastructure and unlocking the next generation of distributed inference optimizations. THE OPPORTUNITY Networking and compute are no longer separate disciplines; they are converging. The massive throughput of H100, B200, and NVL72 architectures enables and demands a new approach where communication is co-optimized alongside computation. We are entering an era where the network is an active accelerator, leveraging smart hardware offloads and direct interconnects to ensure that data movement operates at wire-speed. In this role, you will go beyond network configuration to architect the software fabric that unifies thousands of GPUs into a cohesive operating system. While you will leverage the best of the open-source ecosystem, you won't be limited by it. Where off-the-shelf solutions stop, you will build from scratch, engineering the primitives required to co-optimize communication and compute for Disaggregated Serving, Wide Expert Parallelism (WideEP), and lightening cold starts. WHAT YOU'LL DO Make RDMA First-Class: You will work on integrating RDMA/RoCE/InfiniBand capabilities directly into our inference stack,
