About Ramp Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books. The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving. We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome. The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same. If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it. Join our growing Ops Engineering team and help build internal tooling and infrastructure that empowers operators at Ramp. As an internal-facing team, you'll work directly with our operations teams to design, implement, and scale tools and systems that enable them to serve our customers more efficiently and effectively. Much of our work involves managing the Retool platform, building custom tooling on top of platforms like Zendesk, developing internal API to support internal operations, and creating operator-facing applications that help our ops teams move faster and deliver better customer experiences. Ramp is, at its core, an engineering company, and is on a mission to build the best engineering team in the world! The Ops Engineering team is highly cross-functional, working closely with operations, customer support, and other internal stakeholders to solve a wide range of infrastructure and tooling challenges. Our ideal candidate has a strong sense of ownership and enjoys owning projects from inception to scaling them in production. We value people

SUMMARY STATEMENT We are looking for a Solution Architect to design the technical solutions behind our client engagements and give delivery teams a clear, workable path from concept to production. You will work across enterprise data, software applications and GenAI - translating complex business problems into practical architectures that delivery teams can build and scale. This could include architecting an agentic workflow for clinical operations, a conversational analytics product grounded in enterprise data, or an AI-enabled decision platform for commercial teams. You will work directly with clients, define the architecture, test the most important technical decisions yourself and establish the foundations for successful delivery. This is an architecture-first role with meaningful hands-on engineering: you will stay close enough to implementation to prove the architecture works and support it through production delivery, without becoming the primary engineer for every component. You will also help shape the reusable patterns, technical standards and accelerators behind Lynx’s growing AI-native life sciences practice. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Solution Architecture Own the end-to-end solution architecture for client engagements, including data models, system design, integration patterns and technology choices. Translate business requirements into clear technical designs and implementation paths that delivery teams can build from. Design solutions spanning enterprise data, APIs, applications, cloud platforms and GenAI capabilities. Lead technical discovery with clients: understand requirements, assess existing systems and identify dependencies, constraints and delivery risks. Present architectural options and trade-offs clearly to technical teams, business stakeholders and senior leaders. Make pragmatic decisions across build speed, cost, scalability, security and maintainability. Review key implementation decisions and remain

Datadog’s Technical Solutions organization includes 1,200+ sales engineers, support engineers, post-sales experts, and solution architects. They run on an ecosystem of enterprise platforms and internal tools that directly shape how we serve customers. Technical Solutions Operations (“TSO”) owns that ecosystem. We manage the full lifecycle of the systems TS depends on: Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, and a growing portfolio of off-the-shelf and purpose-built tools. We do the work to operate, maintain, and evolve the platforms powering daily workflows across TS. When a vendor tool reaches its limits, we extend it through customization, integration, or targeted solution development, tapping internal partners across Datadog as needed. We’re looking for a Systems Engineer who wants to own enterprise platforms end-to-end. You go from understanding the business process, to designing the right solution (whether that’s configuration, integration, or code), to measuring whether it actually moved the needle. At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them. What You’ll Do: Own enterprise systems through their full lifecycle. You’ll be the technical owner for one or more platforms that TS relies on daily. That means understanding how the system is used, where it’s falling short, what’s coming from the vendor roadmap, and what needs to change. You drive improvements from assessment through implementation. Engineer solutions that create leverage. Not every problem is solved by configuration. You’ll build and evolve enterprise systems, integrations, automations, and internal tools that multiply the effectiveness of 1,200+ technical experts. Where AI can make a solution smarter (e.g., intelligent routing, automated triage, agent-assisted workflows), you'll include AI in the initial design, no

VTS runs a complex, high-volume revenue motion — Salesforce CPQ feeding NetSuite via middleware, with mid-contract amendments involving upsells, cross-sells, volume changes, downgrades, and product churn happening continuously. The integration layer that connects these systems is functional but manual-heavy, underdocumented, and not built to scale. Furthermore, our CRM and CPQ system requires customization in order to optimize deal workflows to ensure accuracy and timely contract execution. This is not a Salesforce admin role with a developer title. We need someone who writes clean Apex, understands how CPQ order data needs to land in an ERP, knows what good middleware design looks like, and treats release management as a professional discipline — not an afterthought. Alongside our RevOps system team and Salesforce Architect, you'll work closely with our Finance and Sales teams. You will be one of the internal technical voice that evaluates and challenges what those partners propose — knowing when to push back when something is wrong. ** Please note that this opportunity is located in New York, NY, and requires this hire to work from our office 4 days a week. ** What you can expect as a Senior Salesforce & Integration Engineer: Salesforce / CPQ Own the technical customization and development of Salesforce — LWCs, Apex classes/triggers etc along with flows Manage the scaling of custom objects that drive pre/post sales teams in meeting customer needs and internal workflow management Write and maintain Apex triggers, classes, and flows that support Salesforce and CPQ business logic — with test classes that hit 90%+ coverage as a floor, not a ceiling Integration Architecture & Development Partner with third-party implementation firms on the integration build and growth connecting Salesforce CPQ to NetSuite — be the internal technical reviewer, not just the observer Own the internal integration layer as it matures: field

We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them. What You'll Do: Own and improve the full Product Development Life Cycle .
