The pharmacy intern works closely with the pharmacist and technician staff at the CVS Specialty Pharmacy in Fairfield, NJ. In this position, you will gain experience and knowledge on your journey to become a pharmacist. Job functions will include filling prescription orders for dispensing, review and entry of prescriptions, obtaining verbal prescriptions or clarifications from doctor's offices, transferring prescriptions from other pharmacies, counseling patients, and assisting with various clinical projects as needed. All tasks and activities will be performed under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
