About the Team OpenAI’s mission is to ensure that general-purpose artificial intelligence benefits all of humanity. The Engineering Acceleration team builds products that multiply the effectiveness of OpenAI’s technical teams, helping engineers, researchers, and product teams understand complex systems, learn from what they ship, and operate reliably at scale. As AI changes how software is built, we have an opportunity to rethink engineering workflows from first principles. We’re creating tools and shared systems that turn complex data, experimentation, and technical workflows into clear decisions and useful action. About the Role In this role, you’ll lead design across two connected product areas: a real-time data exploration and observability experience for investigating large-scale system and product behavior, and an experimentation platform for safely launching changes, measuring their impact, and deciding whether to ramp, iterate, or roll back. This is more than a dashboard-design role. You’ll define the interaction models that take someone from a vague question or unexpected signal to a trustworthy answer and clear next step. You’ll work closely with engineers, researchers, data scientists, and product teams to understand the mechanics of their work and make dense technical systems coherent without flattening the details that matter. You’ll also help establish greater consistency across OpenAI’s enterprise and internal tools, developing durable patterns that support AI-native workflows and enable other designers to build more effectively. This role is based in our Seattle, WA or San Francisco, CA offices. We offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: Lead end-to-end design for data-intensive products used by engineers, researchers, and product teams. Shape the complete learning loop: instrument, launch, observe, investigate, evaluate, decide, and iterate. Create clear, high-craft workflows for querying, filtering, comparison, drill-d

About the Team OpenAI’s mission is to ensure that general-purpose artificial intelligence benefits all of humanity. The Payments team works across product, engineering, design, and finance to build the financial infrastructure that makes OpenAI’s products accessible to consumers and enterprises around the world. As AI introduces new ways for people and organizations to work, the team is defining how to support and monetize emerging forms of product usage, from usage-based pricing to agentic work. We’re building the foundational systems that help OpenAI products deliver clear, reliable, and scalable payment experiences while ensuring that this powerful technology is deployed responsibly. About the Role In this role, you’ll lead design for one of OpenAI’s most foundational product areas: the payments and monetization infrastructure that supports our consumer and enterprise products. You’ll partner closely with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to shape how customers understand, manage, and pay for entirely new kinds of AI usage. Your work will extend beyond traditional checkout and billing. You’ll help define the systems, frameworks, and experiences behind durable pay-as-you-go models, Codex usage, and agentic workflows, translating complex business and technical requirements into intuitive experiences. As a product designer in a highly ambiguous and rapidly evolving space, you’ll influence both product strategy and the underlying infrastructure that OpenAI products depend on. This role is based in our San Francisco HQ. We offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: Lead the design direction for foundational payments, billing, and monetization experiences across OpenAI’s consumer and enterprise products. Design and ship high-quality, end-to-end product experiences, from early systems and interaction concepts to high-fidelity prototypes and production-ready designs. Shape the infrastructure and product frameworks that support em

About the Team OpenAI’s mission is to ensure that general-purpose artificial intelligence benefits all of humanity. The Identity team builds the foundational systems that enable people, organizations, devices, and agents to securely access OpenAI products. The team works across consumer and enterprise experiences, including account structures, sign-in, authentication, recovery, privacy, permissions, administration, and agent identity. As AI systems become increasingly capable of acting on behalf of people and organizations, we are defining new models for authorization and trust across human-to-agent and agent-to-agent interactions. About the Role In this role, you’ll lead design for foundational identity experiences across OpenAI’s products. You’ll make permissions, access, risk, and administration feel clear, safe, and genuinely usable—whether someone is securing a personal account, administering access across an enterprise, signing in to another product with ChatGPT, or authorizing an agent to perform sensitive work. Your work will span established identity challenges and emerging interaction models without established design conventions. You’ll help define how users understand what an agent can access, who or what it is acting on behalf of, and when confirmation or stronger authentication should appear. Working closely with product, engineering, security, privacy, and design, you’ll translate complex policies and technical systems into coherent, trustworthy experiences. This role is based in our San Francisco HQ. We offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: Lead the design direction for identity, account security, permissions, and administrative experiences across OpenAI’s consumer and enterprise products.
