Who We Are Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together . We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion. Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work. About the Role: We’re seeking an experienced UX Researcher to define and scale how we evaluate Notion’s AI-powered experiences—focusing on what “good” looks like not only for model output quality, but for the end-to-end product experience where people discover, set goals, delegate work, review results, and build trust over time with AI. This role sits at the intersection of research craft and evaluation operations: you’ll run studies that uncover user mental models, expectations, and failure/recovery behaviors, then translate those insights into reusable rubrics, workflows, and measurement approaches that product, design, engineering, and data science can apply consistently. This role can be based in either San Francisco or New York City. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days. What You'll Achieve: Define what “good” looks like (frameworks & rubrics): Establish clear, reusable evaluation criteria that reflect real user expectations—helpfulness,

At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done. Cortex Code is Snowflake’s coding agent for building with data. It ships inside the platform that thousands of the world’s largest enterprises — including a large share of the Forbes Global 2000 — run their data on, which means the quality of this agent is felt by the data teams behind a meaningful slice of the global economy. We are taking coding agents from impressive demos to tools Data Science and Engineering teams depend on every day, and we hold them to a rigorous, public bar: see our data engineering agent benchmark . About the Role This is a measurement-first role that owns the quality and efficiency of Cortex Code end to end: how good the agent is, how much it costs to run, and how reliably it behaves in production. You will take agents from research capability to real, measurable user value — turning fuzzy “the agent feels worse” signals into hard metrics, running the experiments that move them, and shipping the changes that stick. You will work on a small, high-powered modeling and infrastructure team where your work reaches every developer building on Snowflake. What you will do in this role Take agents from prototype to production: design and refine agent behaviors for real coding and data-engineering workflows, and make them reliable enough to depend on. About the Team The Agent Safety team works to ensure that increasingly capable AI agents act safely, exercise sound judgment, and remain aligned with user intent. Our mission is to reduce the probability of severe unintended outcomes from increasingly capable AI agents while preserving their ability to act effectively and autonomously. Our work spans three areas: Training: Create training methods, environments and data that teach agents to make better decisions in consequential situations. We turn real-world failures into training signals that prevent similar incidents, and identify precursor behaviors and mitigations to address emerging risks. Measurements: Build evaluations and production metrics that identify emerging risks and measure whether our interventions work. Oversight : Develop oversight and system mitigation mechanisms that reduce harmful actions while preserving useful agent autonomy (for example future versions of auto-review ). About the Role This role focuses on oversight and system-level mitigations that enable increasingly capable agents to operate safely and autonomously in real environments. We prioritize building oversight systems that are used in practice today, both internally and externally (see our recent work on action monitoring for codex and former code review ). We also study longer-term questions about how increasingly capable agentis systems can be supervised, constrained, and corrected. We’re looking for a safety&security minded researcher or engineer who can reason rigorously about security boundaries and agent behavior, then build and test practical mitigations. A background in AI control or security is welcome but not required. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: Design, build, and evaluate system-level controls for agent actions like agent-based review. Plan how they fit in a broader syste

What you’ll do Be the generalist EE for the scanner system: integration, bring-up, debugging, and making the electrical side of the device reliable and serviceable. Own ultrasound experimentations that feeds the image reconstruction team Design and execute experiment setups for transducer characterization (element sensitivity, bandwidth, cross-talk mapping, beam profile measurements) and ex vivo / phantom clinical testing. Acquire, process, and analyze RF and baseband signals for data quality assessment and benchmarking. Design simple boards and adapters as needed (monitoring, power/safety, interface/conditioning), and take them from prototype through a stable revision. Prototype quickly, then harden what works: wiring/harnessing, grounding, safety interlocks, and reliable integration across subsystems. Own practical test setups and documentation (fixtures, scripts, procedures) that make experiments repeatable and results comparable over time. What we’re looking for Strong hands-on EE background with experience building, debugging, and iterating on real systems in the lab. Solid understanding of signal processing fundamentals — knows what to measure, how to condition and digitize it, and how to evaluate signal quality in the context of an imaging system (SNR, bandwidth, dynamic range, artifacts). Comfortable spanning system integration + occasional design work (schematics/layout reviews or light PCB design) in a fast-moving environment. Ability to work at the boundary between hardware and algorithms: measure reality, communicate constraints, and help close gaps vs simulation. High agency and practicality: able to set up experiments, get trustworthy data, and unblock others on a lean team. Useful experience Analog/mixed-signal, or high-speed data capture experience; strong instincts for instrumentation and noise/debugging. Ultrasound or acoustic sensor handling: hydrophone calibration and field mapping, transducer impedance characterization, element-level sensitivity
