THE ROLE As a member of the Capacity Strategy & Operations team, you will sit at the intersection of supply intelligence, demand forecasting, and cross-functional execution, turning a complex, fast-moving hardware market into a predictable, reliable foundation for our customers and internal engineering teams. This is not a purely analytical role. You will own the end-to-end capacity planning process: from translating customer commitments and growth forecasts into concrete supply requirements, to coordinating fulfillment across vendors, finance, and the infrastructure team, to building the systems that make all of this repeatable and scalable. When supply is constrained and tradeoffs are unavoidable, you are the person in the room who can model the options, make a clear recommendation, and drive alignment fast. You are a strong fit if you have operated at the intersection of strategy and execution before — someone who is equally comfortable building a capacity model in a spreadsheet and running a cross-functional war room when a customer deployment is at risk. EXAMPLE INITIATIVES Demand-Supply Alignment Framework: Build and own the process that translates customer pipeline, signed commitments, and growth projections into a forward-looking GPU demand signal — so the team is never caught flat-footed when a customer scales faster than expected. THE ROLE As a Global Capacity Lead at Baseten, you will lead the "engine room" of the company, architecting, securing, and optimizing the global GPU fleet that powers our customers' AI workloads. You’ll own the end-to-end journey of capacity management, from securing multi-million dollar GPU clusters to building the automation that ensures 99.9% uptime across multi-cloud environments. This role is a great fit for entrepreneurial engineers who want to bridge the gap between high-finance asset management and deep infrastructure engineering. You will act as the fleet orchestrator for the world's most advanced chips, ensuring Baseten never experiences a capacity outage while maintaining elite unit economics. To be clear, this is a high-stakes engineering role. Key focus areas: GPU fleet lifecycle, health, observability, utilization monitoring, and remediation across our neocloud and bare metal environments. We contract for a fixed amount of compute capacity. GPUs drift from healthy to unhealthy over time, and this role minimizes that downtime to keep the maximum number of GPUs healthy at any given moment. This is an operator role, not people management. You'll drive execution through clear processes, metrics, reporting, vendor coordination, and cross-functional alignment.. Maintain a live reconciliation of contracted vs. provisioned vs. healthy vs. utilized capacity, broken out by supplier and by cluster maximizing the number of healthy GPUs. Supplier-attributed fleet health accountability: own replacement SLAs, mean time to repair (MTTR), and RMA cycle times for every in-scope supplier. You'll be the person who turns ambitious infrastructure roadmaps into predictable, on-time, delivery. RESPONSIBILITIES Own delivery of on-prem infrastructure builds — colocation expansions, power/cooling readiness, rack-and-stack, network fabric bring-up, and hardware acceptance testing — coordinating across colo providers and partners, network engineering, hardware ops, and vendor teams. As it grows and matures, the needs of the GTM stack get more sophisticated with scale — and this team exists to stay ahead of those needs. This role owns a core set of the platforms the field runs on. You'll administer, configure, and continuously improve them, build AI and automation on top of the CRM to keep it clean and current, and run the adoption programs that make sure the field actually uses what we put in front of them. We're an AI-native company scaling fast, and we want to add sophistication without adding drag — you'll be the person deciding how much system is enough. This isn't a classic Salesforce admin role. You know the ecosystem, but you come at it as a builder and an orchestrator, not a ticket-taker. What You'll Walk Into Central RevOps is the systems and operations center of excellence for Baseten's GTM org. The stack includes Salesforce, Pylon, Outreach, Sales Navigator, Clay, and a growing set of AI-native GTM tools. The field is scaling fast, and the systems need to mature with it without slowing anyone down. You'll co-own Salesforce with our other GTM Systems Manager and work alongside a GTM Engineering team who builds internal AI products for GTM productivity — plus partner closely with sales leadership and the field. The Business Marketing team contributes to our broader mission of ensuring responsible and widespread adoption of artificial intelligence by developing and executing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and usage for OpenAI’s products and platform amongst core business audiences. This is a hybrid role, based in San Francisco Bay Area (preferred) or New York City three days a week. About the Role Business Marketing moves quickly, and this role sits close to the work. We’re looking for an analytical, highly collaborative Business Operations Manager who can turn a complex marketing budget into better day-to-day decisions. You will partner with marketing leaders, Strategic Finance, Procurement, Data Science, agencies, and regional teams to plan and pace spend, manage commitments, answer urgent questions, and translate investment data into clear actions. This role is not for someone who prefers back-office operations. You will be embedded in the business, understand what teams are trying to achieve, and help them move faster with confidence. You will run the operating rhythm for budget administration across a global, highly matrixed team: maintaining a trusted view of allocations, POs, contracts, actuals, forecasts, and risks; reconciling inputs across different marketing functions, regions, and shared services; and surfacing tradeoffs for leadership and Strategic Finance. You will also partner with Data Science to better connect spend to outcomes, lead useful ad hoc analysis, and build AI-enabled tools and workflows that take the friction out of budget management and make th
