The Role We are hiring a Head of Field and Events to own how Coder wins in person. This is one of three pillars in our marketing strategy, where brand, narrative, and pipeline meet the customer face to face. This is a player-coach role. You will set the strategy for our field and events program and run it with your own hands. You will pick the events that matter, design the experiences around them, and make sure every dollar and every hour on the ground turns into pipeline. Early on you will do much of the execution yourself. As the program proves out, you will build and lead the team behind it. You will report to the CMO and work shoulder to shoulder with sales, demand generation, product marketing, and partnerships. If you like owning a number, being close to customers, and turning a room into revenue, this is your seat. What You Will Own Strategy and planning. Set the field and events strategy tied to pipeline and revenue targets, and own the calendar across conferences, regional programs, and owned events. Third-party events. Choose the right conferences and trade shows, negotiate sponsorships, design the booth and on-site experience, and run flawless execution from load-in to follow-up. Owned events. Build and run Coder's own moments: executive dinners, roadshows, user groups, hackathons, and hands-on workshops that put the product in front of the right people. Field marketing. Design regional field programs with sales that generate and accelerate pipeline in priority markets and named accounts. Pipeline and ROI. Own the number for events-sourced and events-influenced pipeline. Set targets, track spend, and report ROI in a way the whole company can see. Lead flow. Build the lead capture and follow-up motion so no lead falls through. Partner with demand gen and sales ops on routing, qualification, and speed to first touch. Message on the ground. Work with product marketing to make sure the story on stage, at the booth, and in the room is sharp and consistent wit

What we're building Mutiny is the self-improving AI infrastructure for GTM teams to execute faster and close more revenue. Our ambition is to do for revenue velocity what Cursor and Claude Code did for engineering velocity. With Mutiny, everyone in sales and marketing gets a bench of GTM athletes that handle any work across their revenue motion and learn from what's actually moved their deals. In April we re-launched the product as an agent-first platform. Anthropic showcased us as a leader in AI GTM. MRR is growing more than 70% month-over-month, with customers like Uber, Rippling, and Snowflake. We're backed by Sequoia, YC, and Insight, and we're building a generational company. The opportunity We're looking for a Head of GTM to bring Mutiny to millions of users. As a founding first sales manager, you'll partner with the founders, own the number end-to-end from first conversation to expansion, and use AI and our own product to build a team of full-stack sellers that outsells teams 5x their size. What works for our team becomes what works for every sales team running on Mutiny. The calls you make on hiring, motion, and product feedback will shape the company well beyond the sales org. At Vanta, our mission is to help businesses earn and prove trust. We believe that security should be monitored and verified continuously, and we empower companies to practice better security and prove it with ease. Vanta has a kind and talented team, and while some have prior security experience, many have been successful at Vanta without it. Vanta's Corporate Engineering team is the infrastructure layer that keeps 1,500+ people connected, secure, and moving fast. AI is now central to how that happens, and this role leads the team that owns the backbone underneath it. Corporate Engineering owns the shared AI platform for Vanta's internal systems: identity and access for AI tools, cost visibility and controls, sanctioned tooling and guardrails, and the enablement that helps people use those tools well. We do not own product AI, which stays with Engineering, and we do not replace the AI work happening inside individual departments. We build the engineering layer that makes all of it safer, cheaper, and better supported. The company has moved fast. AI assistant use is widespread across every function, MCP infrastructure is live and self-serve company-wide, internal apps ship on a hosted platform, and AI spend has grown to the point where attribution and guardrails genuinely matter. What does not exist yet is a single owner for that platform layer. That is this role. As Sr. Manager, AI Engineering, you will lead a small, senior team, write the charter for what Corporate Engineering owns versus enables, and build the platform that lets the rest of Vanta adopt AI quickly without accumulating cost, risk, or duplication. What you’ll do as a Senior Manager, AI Corporate Engineering at Vanta: Lead, coach, and grow a senior team spanning platform engineering and technical program management. Set clear direction, hold a high bar, and give the team explicit permission to push back with data. Own the AI access layer end to end: identity and authentication for AI tools, connector
