Synthesia is the world’s leading AI video platform for business, used by over 90% of the Fortune 100. Founded in 2017, the company is headquartered in London, with offices and teams across Europe and the US. As AI continues to shape the way we live and work, Synthesia develops products to enhance visual communication and enterprise skill development, helping people work better and stay at the center of successful organizations. Following our recent Series E funding round, where we raised $200 million, our valuation stands at $4 billion. Our total funding exceeds $530 million from premier investors including Accel, NVentures (Nvidia's VC arm), Kleiner Perkins, GV, and Evantic Capital, alongside the founders and operators of Stripe, Datadog, Miro, and Webflow. The Role: Design the Learning. Set the Standard. Take the Stage. We're looking for a Senior Instructional Designer to join the team that shapes how Synthesia teaches the world to use Synthesia. This is Customer Education, not in-house enablement. You'll be joining a team of instructional designers who collectively own the part of the pipeline where quality is actually decided: needs analysis and learning design . You'll carry your own portfolio of work end-to-end — figuring out what learners genuinely need, deciding what to build (and what not to), and producing design blueprints sharp enough that our Knowledge & Enablement Specialists can develop and publish them without needing to guess. You'll stay close to the build, getting hands-on in development where it counts, but your leverage comes from the thinking that happens before anyone opens a timeline. You’ll be joining a team of ambitious instructional designers who will be your deep collaborators, sounding board and discussion partners. We work hard to avoid silos - collaboration is highly valued and built into out structure. This role is also the face and voice of our learning content . You'll facilitate live sessions and workshops for customers, and yo

What we're building Mutiny is the self-improving AI infrastructure for GTM teams to execute faster and close more revenue. Our ambition is to do for revenue velocity what Cursor and Claude Code did for engineering velocity. With Mutiny, everyone in sales and marketing gets a bench of GTM athletes that handle any work across their revenue motion and learn from what's actually moved their deals. In April we re-launched the product as an agent-first platform. Anthropic showcased us as a leader in AI GTM. MRR is growing more than 70% month-over-month, with customers like Uber, Rippling, and Snowflake. We're backed by Sequoia, YC, and Insight, and we're building a generational company. The opportunity Most design hires inherit a system. You'll build it. As a founding designer, you'll partner with the founders and engineering to define how Mutiny looks, feels, and behaves, from the first interaction with the creative agent to the final published asset. They have high standards and strong opinions and you'll hear from them constantly. The patterns you set become the shared language for what AI-native GTM software feels like. This role is in person in New York City, five days a week. What you'll own The end-to-end product. From the first interaction with the creative agent to the final published asset. Design new surfaces, rethink existing ones, and figure out which tedious parts of GTM work AI should take over so customers spend their time being strategic. The creative agent's output. The work the agent produces matters as much as the surface around it. Partner with engineering on better defaults, smarter constraints, and stronger adherence to brand guidelines. An AI that's genuinely creative and knows how to color inside the lines when it needs to. Taste as a system. Curate what good looks like. Build the feedback loops that make the model's output sharper every week. Decide what ships and what doesn't. The design system. Components, patterns, and guardrails that let prod

About the Team and Role: The Experience team is at the center of one of the most exciting transitions in software development history — the shift from human-driven to agent-driven product experiences. We own Pinecone's API, clients, authentication, revenue, and observability systems, and right now that means redesigning all of it for a world where AI agents are first-class users alongside humans. This is a wide-scope role. You'll own things end-to-end — from backend architecture to API design to SDK and web surfaces. You’ll be working closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to identify user needs and build the right thing, at the right abstraction level, at the right time.
