About the Team Our mission at OpenAI is to discover and enact the path to safe, beneficial AGI. To do this, we believe that many technical breakthroughs are needed in generative modeling, reinforcement learning, large-scale optimization, active learning, and other areas. The team builds the performance-critical systems that allow OpenAI's models to run efficiently across a diverse set of AI accelerators. We work across the inference stack, from low-level kernels and compilers through model execution, to unlock the full capabilities of the underlying hardware. About the Role As a Software Engineer, Trainium, you will help bring OpenAI's inference workloads to AWS Trainium and build the software stack required to run cutting-edge frontier models efficiently on the platform. This is a deeply technical, cross-stack role spanning kernels, compilers, and model execution. You will work on the systems needed to support OpenAI's inference stack on Trainium, including developing and optimizing high-performance kernels, improving compiler support, and enabling efficient execution of the model forward pass. You'll work closely with engineers across inference, compilers, kernels, and ML systems to identify performance bottlenecks and build the software needed to take full advantage of Trainium. The work may range from low-level hardware-specific optimization to compiler and runtime improvements to integrating new model architectures into the inference stack. If you enjoy working at the intersection of ML systems, compilers, kernels, and accelerator hardware, this role is for you. We're looking for engineers who are self-directed, comfortable operating across abstraction layers, and excited to solve challenging performance problems for frontier-scale AI systems. In This Role, You Will Build and optimize OpenAI's inference stack for AWS Trainium. Develop high-performance kernels for critical model operations and workloads. Extend and improve compiler support to efficiently target

ABOUT BASETEN Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F , led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to to ship AI products. THE ROLE Baseten is building its own GPU infrastructure for large-scale inference. As we move into large scale, high-density NVIDIA systems, the hardest failures are intermittent, cross-layer, and difficult to prove: RoCE congestion, InfiniBand stalls, ECN/DCQCN mis-tuning, bad optics, RNIC issues, host kernel stalls, GPU driver problems, and workload symptoms that look like network problems, but are not. We are hiring a Lead Software Engineer to build a first-class observability and root-cause analysis system for GPU fabrics. This is a hard distributed systems problem, not a dashboarding problem. The system will collect high-volume signals from switches, hosts, active probes, and inference services; reduce and correlate them in real time; understand topology and service ownership; and produce actionable diagnosis while an incident is still unfolding. This role sits at the boundary between networking and inference software. RDMA data paths, GPUDirect transfers, prefill/decode disaggregation, KV cache movement, request routing, and workload backpressure can all create fabric symptoms or hide real fabric failures. The goal is to tell an operator, quickly and with evidence, whether an incident is caused by the fabric, host, NIC, GPU, RDMA path, scheduler, or serving layer — and what to do next. EXAMPLE INITIATIVES Real-time telemetry engine — Build the ingestion, reduction, storage, and query path for high-cardinality fab

Drata is building the trust layer between great companies - automating compliance, managing risk, and helping organizations prove trust continuously as they scale. We're Dratanauts: a global crew of 600+ professionals united by a culture that rewards integrity, ownership, and raising the bar, no matter where in the world we're working from. Why Join the Drata Team? At Drata, you're not maintaining legacy compliance software - you're building the agentic AI platform defining what trust looks like for the next generation of companies. Here's what makes the work itself worth showing up for: Problems without a playbook: You'll work at the edge of AI and security, building agentic governance, continuous compliance, and real-time trust verification to solve problems that don't have an established answer yet. You're writing it as you go. Real ownership, not just process: Our values center on owning outcomes and raising the bar, not checking boxes. You're expected to have opinions and back them. A seat at the table: Your perspective is unique and valued. Open debate and diverse viewpoints are built into how decisions actually get made here, at every level. Growth at rocketship speed: Drata is scaling fast, which means scope grows fast too. High performers get more ownership, visibility, and experience. A crew, not just coworkers: Dratanauts consistently describe a "come as you are" culture with sharp, curious people—the kind of team that makes hard problems genuinely fun to solve. See what they say here and follow us on LinkedIn for company news, employee stories, and career updates. Job Summary: The Software Engineer, Monetization Platform serves as an engineer on the Product Platform Group with a primary focus on the systems that turn product usage, subscriptions, credits, commitments, and contracts into accurate customer outcomes and clean financial operations. This person will help architect and evolve the core billing domain for Drata: usage event ingestion, billable m

About Ramp Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books. The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving. We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome. The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same. If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it. About the Role Over the past few years at Ramp, we've reimagined how businesses manage spend, and the backbone of that vision is Procure-to-Pay. The P2P team builds the systems that connect vendors, invoices, and payments into one seamless, automated flow. It's where billions of dollars move through our platform, and every line of code matters. We're looking for a backend engineer who loves complex systems, obsesses over correctness, and wants to shape how money moves in modern finance software. You'll help design and scale the infrastructure that powers our payment rails, ensures auditability across products, and unlocks the next wave of AI-driven automation. It's a chance to work on systems that actually move money, with a team that cares deeply about precision, reliability, and scale. The problems are tough, the stakes are high, and the impact is massive. What You'll Do Design and build core P2P systems, from invoice ingestion and approval workflows to payment orchestration and reconciliation logic. Enable AI agents to classify, validate, and pro

We work across the full software development lifecycle, including local development, CI/CD, testing, service frameworks, reliability, architecture, performance, and maintenance. They find high-leverage problems, validate them with engineers and data, ship solutions, and iterate until those solutions are trusted, adopted, and durable. Agentic development has expanded our mission. We are building the systems that let engineers and AI agents work together effectively in Ramp’s large, complex codebases: clear abstractions, orchestration, reliable workflows, fast feedback loops, and strong guardrails are now even more important.
