We believe that the way people interact with their finances will drastically improve in the next few years. We’re dedicated to empowering this transformation by building the tools and experiences that thousands of developers use to create their own products. Plaid powers the tools millions of people rely on to live a healthier financial life. We work with thousands of companies like Venmo, SoFi, several of the Fortune 500, and many of the largest banks to make it easy for people to connect their financial accounts to the apps and services they want to use. Plaid’s network covers 12,000 financial institutions across the US, Canada, UK and Europe. Founded in 2013, the company is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in New York, Seattle, Washington D.C., Raleigh, London, and Amsterdam. The Platform Security team (PlatSec) defends Plaid against attackers. We own laptop security, cloud security, AI security, detection and response, and red teaming. Right now we're in growth mode. AI has expanded Plaid's attack surface faster than most security teams can adapt, and we're building the guardrails, identity controls, and detection systems to keep pace without slowing the business down. If you like solving problems nobody's solved yet, this is that team. About the role You'll be Plaid's first line of defense on AI security. You'll review new AI technologies to find security risks before they ship, then design and implement the controls that close them. You'll build the guardrails, identity management, and detection systems that let Plaid use AI aggressively without getting burned. Responsibilities Review AI systems and integrations for security risk before and after deployment. Design and deploy guardrails, sandboxes, and other controls that contain what AI agents can do. Build or implement systems to track and manage AI identities, so we know what access every AI has been granted and can balance risk with agility. Detect and mitigate prompt injection across Plaid's AI

About the Team The Statsig team within OpenAI builds the experimentation, feature rollout, dynamic configuration, and analytics systems that help OpenAI ship products with speed, safety, and evidence. Our work sits on the critical path for how product, engineering, research, and go-to-market teams learn from real-world usage and make high-confidence decisions. Statsig began as an independent company focused on helping builders move faster through trustworthy experimentation and feature management. After joining OpenAI, the team began its next chapter: bringing deep product expertise, customer intuition, and mature platform infrastructure into the product development system used by every OpenAI team. Today, teams across ChatGPT, Codex, model measurement, consumer monetization, business subscriptions, developer products, and shared infrastructure rely on Statsig to safely introduce new capabilities, measure impact, and roll changes forward or back with confidence. We are at a defining moment as adoption accelerates and the platform becomes a company-wide standard. About the Role We are looking for an Engineering Manager, Statsig Product to lead the product engineering organization responsible for Statsig’s post-acquisition journey at OpenAI. You will define how experimentation, rollout, configuration, and analytics become a simple, reliable, and trusted part of how every OpenAI product team ships. You will set strategy across multiple product and platform workstreams, build the organization and leadership structure needed for the next phase, and establish the operating model for a platform that serves teams across the company. The right leader can operate across product strategy, technical architecture, organizational design, developer experience, reliability, and executive alignment. You will help preserve what made Statsig strong while integrating it deeply into how OpenAI launches, measures, learns, and makes product decisions. In this role, you will: Build, lead,

About the Team OpenAI’s mission is to ensure that general-purpose artificial intelligence benefits all of humanity. The Engineering Acceleration team builds products that multiply the effectiveness of OpenAI’s technical teams, helping engineers, researchers, and product teams understand complex systems, learn from what they ship, and operate reliably at scale. We’re creating tools and shared systems that turn complex data, experimentation, and technical workflows into clear decisions and useful action. About the Role In this role, you’ll lead design across two connected product areas: a real-time data exploration and observability experience for investigating large-scale system and product behavior, and an experimentation platform for safely launching changes, measuring their impact, and deciding whether to ramp, iterate, or roll back. This is more than a dashboard-design role. You’ll define the interaction models that take someone from a vague question or unexpected signal to a trustworthy answer and clear next step. You’ll work closely with engineers, researchers, data scientists, and product teams to understand the mechanics of their work and make dense technical systems coherent without flattening the details that matter. You’ll also help establish greater consistency across OpenAI’s enterprise and internal tools, developing durable patterns that support AI-native workflows and enable other designers to build more effectively. This role is based in our Seattle, WA or San Francisco, CA offices. We offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: Lead end-to-end design for data-intensive products used by engineers, researchers, and product teams. Shape the complete learning loop: instrument, launch, observe, investigate, evaluate, decide, and iterate. Create clear, high-craft workflows for querying, filtering, comparison, drill-d
