The Platforms TPM organization partners with Experimentation, ML, LLM/GenAI, and Data Infrastructure teams to shape how Pinterest measures everything that matters — from product experiments to AI systems to the platforms everyone builds on. What you'll do: As a Staff Technical Program Manager for Measurement, you'll have the rare opportunity to shape how a company the size of Pinterest measures itself — turning a portfolio spanning experimentation, machine learning, generative AI, and data infrastructure into one coherent, high-impact program. Drive Pinterest's experimentation roadmap — accelerating how confidently and quickly teams can test, learn, and ship new ideas at scale. About Sentry Software runs the world and the pace is faster than ever. Sentry helps developers fix errors and performance issues before users notice, so teams can spend less time firefighting and more time building. Trusted by 200,000+ organizations, Sentry is today’s application monitoring standard and our team is building its AI-native future. About the Role Shipping great software is only half the battle. Getting it to the right customers, at the right time, in the right way, is where the real complexity lives. We're looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to own the end of the EPD pipeline: the moment a feature is built to the moment it's successfully in customers' hands. This person will define what "good" looks like for product launches at Sentry, building the frameworks, playbooks, and operating rhythms that make every release more intentional, more coordinated, and more confident than the last. The foundation is there. Features ship. But the connective tissue between Engineering, Product, Legal, Marketing, go-to-market (GTM), and Sales needs someone who can see the whole system, diagnose what's broken, and build something durable. That's this role. If you're energized by ambiguity, love designing operating models, and want real ownership over a function that touches every team in the company, this is a rare opportunity to define the craft at a company that takes software quality seriously. What You'll Do Define the Launch Standard: Establish what a great product launch looks like at Sentry: the gates, the playbooks, the decision rights, and the rituals. You're not inheriting a fixed process; you're authoring it. Own Feature Flag & Cohort Strategy: Bring intentionality to how Sentry uses early access programs, beta cohorts, and staged rollouts. Make sure the right customers get the right features at the right time, and that we're learning from every rollout. Orchestrate Cross-Functional Readiness: Be the central coordinator who ensures Engineering,

It's a broad, technically complex, and deeply consequential organization. We're looking for a Staff Technical Program Manager who can operate at the intersection of technical depth and strategic execution: someone who thrives in complexity, builds trust with senior engineering leaders, and has a gift for turning ambiguity into clarity and momentum. You'll report to the Head of Technical Program Management and work closely with the VP of Platform Engineering, their staff, and partner teams across Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD). This is a high-visibility role with real influence. You'll work directly with the CTO and senior leaders, shape how the Platform org operates, and help Sentry scale through one of its most important chapters. In this role, you will: Drive strategic execution. Partner with the VP of Platform Engineering and senior EPD leaders to translate priorities into clear, measurable plans. Own sequencing, milestones, and key decisions, and make sure leadership always has reliable visibility into progress and tradeoffs. Build data-driven delivery health. Establish the metrics and dashboards that reflect delivery confidence, risk, and engineering health across the Platform org. Keep planning and reporting high-signal and lightweight, focused on outcomes rather than activity. Manage capacity, dependencies, and risk. Create visibility into resourcing, cross-team dependencies, and constraints so leaders can align investment to the

About the Team At OpenAI, the User Safety & Risk Operations (USRO) team helps protect our products and users from abuse, fraud, safety risks, and other forms of misuse. We operate at the front line of real-world safety and risk management, translating user and operational signals into timely decisions, effective interventions, and improvements to our systems. This role sits on a team focused on building operational capacity for new, ambiguous, and fast-moving company priorities. The team defines what needs to be built, creates the operating model to support it, and works with partner teams to make the work scalable and durable over time. About the Role We are looking for a senior program manager to build the safety, quality, and risk operations supporting a new category of consumer devices. You will translate ambiguous product risks and evolving requirements into practical operating models, workflows, escalation paths, launch-readiness plans, and cross-functional decision-making. This is a foundational role: the systems you build will shape how OpenAI launches, monitors, and improves a new category of consumer devices safely at scale. You will help establish how potential safety incidents, product-quality concerns, sensitive customer escalations, privacy-sensitive issues, and other emerging device risks are identified, investigated, resolved, and incorporated into product and operational improvements. You will turn incomplete requirements into practical workflows, decision rights, launch plans, quality controls, measurement, and durable ownership. The role centers on program building, operational judgment, and execution. We welcome candidates from product safety, quality assurance, regulatory operations, technical program management, healthcare, medical devices, aerospace, consumer technology, and other environments involving complex products or regulated risks. Direct consumer-hardware experience is helpful but not required. The strongest candidates learn unfam

About the Team OpenAI’s Research Program Management team partners with researchers and engineers to advance the development of increasingly capable, safe, and beneficial AI systems. We work alongside teams developing our core models, helping turn ambitious research goals into coordinated execution across model training, alignment and safety, and research infrastructure. The team also regularly collaborates with our closest cross-functional partners such as Security, Applied product and engineering, Strategy, and Scaling. About the Role As a Research Program Manager, you will embed with research teams and help drive some of the most technically complex and consequential work behind OpenAI’s model development. Depending on your focus, your work may span training, reasoning, evaluations, compute, research infrastructure, safety, model launch readiness, and governance. You will translate evolving research priorities into actionable programs, help teams navigate technical and operational tradeoffs, and keep important work moving as new issues emerge. This is a hands-on technical role: you will engage directly with research workflows, experimental results, technical systems, and engineering constraints; not simply coordinate from the sidelines. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees. You might thrive in this role if you: Have 5+ years of experience in research program management, technical program management, or related roles in fast-moving environments. Can engage substantively with researchers and engineers on topics such as model training, experimental design, model safety, evaluation methods, data workflows, compute infrastructure, or distributed systems.
