Position Summary: The position of the Associate Vendor Manager is responsible for providing support to the Vendor Management department through daily assistance with linguist recruitment and testing, database maintenance and daily support to sales and production teams with vendor-related issues and questions. Position responsibilities: Provide on-the-job support to the Vendor Management team Proactively recruit new resources to expand the company’s database of external linguists Test recruited linguists according to specialized skill sets and the company’s testing process Negotiate preferred rates with recruited linguists according to company, department or project needs Promote newly recruited and tested linguists to the appropriate production teams Assist production and sales teams on a daily basis with vendor-related issues and questions Establish and maintain excellent relationships
