Qualification
& Experience Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience or 6+ years equivalent combination of experience in related field. Skills, education (including other relevant non-traditional degree programs, certifications, or job training programs) preferred. Professional certifications such as CISSP, AZ-500/AWS Certified Security – Specialty, BSCP or equivalents are highly desirable. Experience as a cyber security engineer, system administrator, or system/cloud engineer is desired. Strong knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection software and business systems (i.e. M365/Google). Experience with cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Experience with Web application security testing is desired. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, and ISO).
