Job description
The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager to deliver safe, on‑time, on‑budget mains water projects. You will assist with planning, site preparation, stakeholder engagement, traffic and excavation coordination, quality assurance, health & safety, reporting and continuous improvement. Support the Project Manager with project planning, pre‑site visits and developing programme, resource and budget inputs. Assist coordination of pre‑site activities and on‑site delivery: traffic management, excavation, asset installation, reinstatement and site clearance. Maintain accurate project records, monitor progress, prepare regular progress reports and update schedules using project management tools. Liaise with stakeholders (local authorities, utilities, contractors, the public) and help organise meetings and permit coordination. Help manage contractors, suppliers and site teams;
