About the role We’re seeking a Strategic Finance Senior Associate to join the Finance team at Chime. As a finance team member, you will have a key role in collaborating with the Strategic Finance team to shape our business and financial strategy, while completing numerous high-impact initiatives at the company. You will help us build unit economic frameworks to better understand our business model to drive continuous improvement of KPIs, while collaborating with cross-functional business partners to evaluate the ROI of products, features, and initiatives. We are looking for an analytical problem-solver with a strategic mindset - someone who can do more than just crunch numbers! A key part of this role is the ability to understand the details while keeping sight of the broader strategy. This is a high-visibility role on a tight knit team. You will work day to day with Product, Analytics, Risk, Growth, Accounting, and Corporate Finance. ABOUT THE TEAM The Sales Compliance team makes sure DoorDash and Deliveroo charge every merchant correctly and sell in a way that is compliant and built to scale. We own sales controls, revenue assurance, and order-to-cash (OTC) controls across the Merchant organization, from the signed contract, to how it is configured in our systems, to the charge a merchant sees. We are part of Sales Strategy & Operations, which builds the go-to-market strategies, processes, and systems that help our sales teams move faster and grow revenue across every business line. ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead Sales Compliance for our new and emerging businesses, and to run it like a strategy and operations business, not a checklist. You will own the strategy, roadmap, and team behind DoorDash’s sales controls: key SOX revenue controls, contract-to-system-to-charge reconciliations, and the systems, data, and processes that make compliant selling the default. Your mandate is to protect revenue and audit outcomes while making it easier, not harder, for Sales to grow. This role focuses on DoorDash’s new and emerging business lines, where products, pricing models, and contract structures are still evolving and many controls are being built for the first time. You will set the compliance foundation for these businesses as they launch and scale.
