Job description
SUMMARY: Plans, schedules, coordinates, facilitates, and presents training focused on providing the highest quality security personnel for the accounts supported by the Branch Office. Assists with onboarding and personnel recordkeeping for new hires and current employees. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned by the Regional Vice President (RVP) or Director of Learning and Development: Coordinates and conducts all instructor-led training for both internally and externally developed programs, including, but not limited to, Initial Security Officer Training (ISOT) program, re-training programs, annual In-Service Training, firearms, use of force, less-than-lethal weapons, safety, and orientation. Qualification
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must have : Current NC PPSB armed/ unarmed guard card Current NC PPSB unarmed instructor certification Armed NC PPSB instructor preferred Armed/ Unarmed South Carolina SLED instructor preferred along with NC PPSB instructor certs. Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required. Some college education or business classes are desirable. Minimum 1 – 2 years of professional-level experience required. Prior experience in the fire service, security industry, law enforcement, or the military is highly desired. Experience in security operations or other functions of the security industry is a plus. Surrounding state certifications preferred. LANGUAGE
