Assistant Restaurant Manager Department: Food & Beverage Reports to: Food & Beverage Manager Location: King Street Townhouse, Manchester Role Focus: Restaurant operations, team leadership and guest experience The Opportunity We are looking for a confident and hands-on Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the leadership of our modern British, seasonal all-day restaurant. This is a visible, floor-based role, working across breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner to deliver warm, polished and natural service with genuine attention to detail. You will help lead the team, protect service standards, develop colleagues and support commercial performance while working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager and wider hotel operation. Role Purpose To support the Food & Beverage Manager in leading the daily restaurant operation, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, consistent standards, effective team development, strong operational control and delivery against commercial goals. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Support the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant across breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Maintain a highly visible presence on the floor and remain hands-on throughout service. Ensure opening, service and closing procedures are completed to the required standard.
