Job description
Permanent contract, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year Unqualified Lecturer Salary (P25-P27 £30,348.15 - £32,186.70) Qualified Lecturer Salary L5 and above (P27-P35 £32,186.70 - £40,015.50) Exceptional candidates with the right skills and aptitudes may be eligible to receive an additional industry expertise uplift as part of the wider benefits of being a Bath College employee. Key purpose: To work with the Apprenticeship Manager to deliver a high-quality wood occupation apprenticeship programme including classroom and workshop theory and practical teaching. As well onsite (employer based) assessment and reviews in both architectural Joinery and Site Carpentry to all apprentices, that meets Bath College quality expectations, that prepares apprentices in both knowledge, skills and behaviours that meet the needs of the industry, the Apprenticeship Institute and End-Point Assessment criter

Qualification
To provide induction, assessment, training, coaching, teaching and assessment to apprentices who are undertaking Apprenticeship Programmes and supporting qualification(s) Teach, asses, support, advise and assist apprentices during their training both at college and in the workplace; GCSE) English and Maths at Grade C or above Qualified to NVQ Level 3, or equivalent, in a carpentry/joinery discipline; L5 teaching qualification or equivalent(or willingness to work towards) Full UK Driving Licence and use of own vehicle; It is a free and strictly confidential short-term counselling and support service (up to six meetings after an initial assessment session with a qualified counselor) The College offers an eye sight test for anyone who meets the criteria as described within the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations
