About the Job: LaunchDarkly is hiring a Chief of Staff to report to the CEO and partner with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) as the company continues to scale. This is a senior, individual contributor role for a strategic operator and trusted advisor who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, communication, and data. As Chief of Staff, you’ll help translate company strategy into action, shape executive-level planning and decision-making, and ensure leadership discussions are grounded in clear insights and high-quality materials. You’ll operate with significant autonomy, exercise wide latitude in how work gets done, and act as a thought partner to senior leaders across the organization. Qualification
Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience, preferably in senior-level roles involving strategy, operations, consulting, finance, product operations, or executive advisory work. Demonstrated success partnering closely with executive leaders and influencing at the highest levels of an organization. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complexity into clear, compelling narratives. Strong analytical capabilities and comfort working with SaaS metrics and executive-level data. Ability to manage multiple, high-impact workstreams with sound judgment and prioritization. High degree of discretion, integrity, and emotional intelligence. Pay: Target pay ranges based on Geographic Zones* for Level 6: Zone 1: San Francisco/Bay Area or NYC Metropolitan Area, Boston, Seattle - $ 240,600 - $330,700 ** Zone 2: Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Austin, Portland, Philadelphia, Chicago - $ 216,500 - $297,600 ** Zone 3: All other US locations - $ 204,500 - 281,100 ** All Zones Inclusive of 10% Bonus Target LaunchDarkly operates from a place of high trust and transparency; we are happy to state the pay range for our open role
