CNC Machinist

About the Role   Our client is seeking Journeyman CNC Machinists with experience working with steel to join their shop team.   You will operate a CNC lathe or CNC mill to produce custom, precise, machined components, primarily servicing the oil/gas and heavy construction industries.   Responsibilities   • Operate the CNC lathe and/or CNC mill, ensuring accurate cutting of metal components • Read and interpret drawings and fabrication layouts • Setup CNC machines, report any required maintenance or repairs, perform routine maintenance • Operate machines independently and make adjustments as needed • Work alongside the shop team and manager to ensure all work is completed safely and within scheduled timelines • Maintain a clean, organized workspace • Help with various shop related duties as required   Skills and Requirements   • CNC Journeyman Machinist designation is required, new certifi
