As a Construction Inspector, you will perform contract item inspections for ensuring compliance with plans and specifications on all phases of construction projects. Conduct construction inspection on NMDOT projects and monitor contract work for compliance with plans, specifications and contract documents. Establish and maintain documentation and report requirements based on construction plans and specifications. Interpret plans, specifications and contract documents to ensure compliance. Coordinate with the contractor and the project management to identify and resolve inspection issues. Ensure inspection compliance with safety rules and regulations.
