Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.
As a Construction Manager for Project Delivery Controls within the Global Facilities & Construction (GFAC) organization, you will support the Construction Director in deploying project delivery criteria, governance, and standards across Micron’s U.S. greenfield FAB and capital expansion projects.
This role supports project delivery teams with the project controls tools, processes, documentation, and critical metric reporting that keep execution on track, improving delivery predictability and making complex semiconductor construction more manageable across owner, EPCM, and contractor teams.
Responsibilities
- Support documentation and deployment of GFAC project delivery controls, Playbook standards, and stage-gate requirements to drive clarity in execution across scope, schedule, cost, and risk.
- Assist with project setup and front-end planning, including scope of work exhibits, WBS and cost-coding structures, Project Execution Plans (PEPs), and contractual delivery requirements for EPCM and general contractor agreements.
- Collect, analyze, and report construction critical metrics across cost (commitments, actuals), procurement, CPM schedules, risk registers, quality, and commissioning.
- Establish baseline documentation and dashboards that give project collaborators and leadership clear transparency into cost, schedule, and quality performance, enabling data-driven decisions.
- Support quality, commissioning, and close-out programs to ensure alignment from standards through execution, including ITP and NCR tracking, commissioning progression, system turnover packages, and equipment install landmarks.
- Partner with construction, engineering, procurement, finance, site facilities, and contractor teams to align delivery expectations, capture lessons learned, drive continuous improvement, and promote Micron’s EHS and safety standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management, project coordination, or project controls on large-scale capital projects
- Working knowledge of project delivery across scope, schedule, cost, quality, commissioning, and risk, including WBS, CPM scheduling, organizational change, and project documentation
- Strong organization, communication, and follow-through skills, with the ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed owner, EPCM, and contractor environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience on semiconductor FAB, advanced technology, pharmaceutical (GMP), data center, or other mega projects with cleanroom and process-critical MEP systems
- Familiarity with Primavera P6, Procore, construction management and document control platforms, Power BI dashboards, and prefabrication or modular delivery approaches
- PMP, CCM, or equivalent certification
- Experience and/or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processes.
