Job description

About the role Human Archive runs large-scale field deployments to collect egocentric robotics data. We are hiring a Deployment Associate to be our person on the ground at every site. You will be the site lead for your deployment - setting up and running the capture devices, building and maintaining the task taxonomy that defines what gets collected, supervising the workers performing the tasks, and making sure every hour of data that leaves the site is clean, complete, and correctly labelled. This is the role that decides whether a deployment produces usable data or unusable data. It is hands-on, detail-heavy, and best suited to someone who is equally comfortable talking to workers on a shop floor and enforcing a strict data protocol.
