Job description
Overview: The Die Cutter Operator is responsible for the precise setup, operation, and maintenance of die-cutting machines used in the production of folding carton packaging. This role ensures that paperboard is accurately cut, creased, stripped, and blanked according to customer specifications, while meeting quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate die-cutting equipment (e.g., Bobst, Iberica, Heidelberg) to cut and crease folding carton jobs according to specifications. Read and interpret job tickets, CAD layouts, and customer requirements to ensure proper tooling and materials are used. Install and align cutting dies, stripping tools, and blanking units for efficient production. Monitor production runs for quality, ensuring precise registration, clean cuts, and accurate creasing.
